What People Are Saying

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome Cramped for space? Want to save money? For the cost of separate washer and dryers you can just get this unit and save not only money but room as well. No stacking like some you see just one that does it all. In a hurry? There is a "Speed cycle" that does what it says. I would have given this a 5 star IF it were a top loader.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from VERY Noisy I can only have a combo unit in my house due to lack of space to put a separate dryer. I love this unit in theory because it allows me to have both (it is installed in my kitchen.) This washer works ok for washing clothes, but the drying feature is TERRIBLE. After having it for less than a year it has started making an incredibly loud vibrating noise that cycles on and off for the entirety of the 3-5 hour drying cycle. Since I have a small, open-floor plan house, you can hear this noise in every single room. We can't even hear the TV over the sound of the dryer, meaning all of the drying has to be done while at work or while sleeping (not convenient).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for apartment living I've had this combo machine for a year and a half now. It took some getting used to but I love it in spite of the fact that I've had the pump replaced once (collected a hair pin) and had the technician here recently to scrub all the lint out of the insides. This machine does need a little babying. This unit is relatively quiet if you don't mind the sound of the pump running during the dry cycle. I can barely hear the wash cycle. Yes the clothes come out mildly damp but they are dry in a few minutes. And yes if you over dry them they will wrinkle because it gets crazy hot in there. Like the other reviewers mentioned you have to wipe down the seals after each use for lint, and the clothes can get linty but this usually happens when you don't run the self cleaning cycle often enough or if you overload it. The reason I love this machine is because I can use it in my old rental apartment and avoid leaving the house to clean my clothes. The clothes come out VERY clean and it hardly uses any water. It's already paid for itself in convenience and my electricity bill only went up around $3.00 a month while doing approximately 5-7 loads a week. If you are in a situation where you can't vent or want an environmentally friendly washing option I would highly recommend this machine.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from WORST WASTE OF LIFE EVER This thing washes, but LEGIT does not dry. takes 8 hours just to do a few towels? and they still come out damp, are you kidding me????? better off paying a laundry service to do your clothes rather than racking up your electric bill and wasting all your time " Re-Dying" your clothes. so annoying and so angry.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unhappy. .complete waste of money Imo, the only feature that is positive, is the space saving feature. Clothes come out damp and need to be exposed to air to complete drying, or they over dry and come out wrinkled. The lint collects around the rubber lining and has to wiped down between every use. We have had the machine for a year and have had to have service man out on 3 occasions already. The pump has been replaced once. For the price, I can't justify the purchase. Having separate machines cuts the time back drastically. If you set the dry time for 30 minutes, it automatically goes to 57 minutes, so on and so forth. Clothes almost always need to be rolled with a lint brush.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Have had ten years with almost no issues you purchase this combo because you have no vent to the outside. Otherwise, buy a regular washer and dryer. That said, if you have no vent this is a terrific alternative to the laundromat. It isn't perfect: the load you can put in is very small. If you put in a small load your wash/dry can be finished in two hours. First:small load. Second: speed wash. Third: regular dry. Fourth: stop the dry after 1 3/4 hours of total operation. Wait for five minutes and take your clothes out. They will be dry enough unless you are living in south Florida or somewhere humid.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved it, miss it!! We sold our house with this "all-in-one" washer in it, as the new owners wanted the washer, and even checked to see if it was still there and the right one during the handover. Now I miss the ease of putting my clothes in at night and having them washed AND dried by morning. Nice to have the steam feature to take the wrinkles out of my white shirts too. Plugs into an ordinary 120volt outlet, and uses a fraction of electricity of the others. I miss the machine and now I can't find another!! Note: when I installed it, I had to put it on a concrete slab to ensure that it was quiet when at high spin. Well worth it. Amazing machine and great technology.

How do I dry clothing without spinning on high or extra high? I'd like to set the washer to medium spin and then dry, but every time I select at dry time the spin speed increases to high.

Asked by: JenniferS
We regret your dissatisfaction with the operations of this washing machine. The SPIN SPEED of the DRY cycle appears to be set automatically, with no option to reduce the speed. For additional information, please contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000.

How do I just but something on a dry cycle no wash. For example if I pull the clothes out and they are still slightly damp but don't want to rewash everything. I am trouble operating just the dry cycle

Asked by: mojo39
If you wish to only use the drying function, after turning on the POWER button, you may either turn the WASH dial to the DRAIN & SPIN function, or you may only adjust the DRY dial and press START without using the WASH dial. We have only had our combo washer a couple of months and are happy with it. Our only question is about the lint. Is it normal to have a lot of lint on the door and around the seal after a load?  It doesn't seem to make it to the pump filter.

Asked by: Megs mom
We appreciate your interest in this washing machine. It is not normal for large amounts of lint to accumulate on the tub, as these machines are designed not to produce as much lint as your standard machine. If lint builds up on the door gasket, then it is recommended to wipe this gasket off after these cycles.

What does alarm code UE stand for?

Asked by: CJM9988
If the display shows UE, the denotation is that the load is UNEVEN. This can be caused by the load being too small or out of balance. This machine has an imbalance detection and correction system. If individual heavy articles are loaded, and the imbalance is too great, the washer will make several attempts to restart the spin cycle. If an imbalance is still detected, the washer will stop and display this code. Add a couple similar items to balance the load, or rearrange the items in the tub.
