Answer:
Water Plus adds extra water to the wash and rinse. I use it when I wash bulky items like comforters or mattress pads to make sure that they are fully saturated with detergent and then properly rinsed. If you hold down the button for 3 seconds after you start a cycle it enables Spinsense, making the washer more sensitive to unstable floors.

Answer:
I use the water plus button on every load I do. I have a rather unstable wooden floor in my laundry room. Using this button helps stablize the spin. If I do not use it it shakes the entire floor, dryer and everything else in that room.
If you are not sure if you need it, go ahead and press it before you srart your load, check it when it is spinning and see if you notice any difference.

Ours stopped working

It gives an error code of UE on the display.
What does UE mean or where can I go on your website to see what that means?

Answer:
UE is for an unbalanced load. I have this happen with a few king sized blankets when I wash them, also a rather large bathrug I have too. They are normally a little wet, but I go ahead and hang them to dry rather than putting them back in.

Answer:
According to the paperwork I was given to keep on top of my washer which includes a small line of Error Codes, the UE code is for an Unbalanced load error and it says to see the owner's manual to resolve it. I doubt this was very helpful but maybe it's a start, if you have the owner's manual.

When I do a "tub clean" the liquid bleach compartment doesn't empty...

I have run the tub clean cycle 6 times now and it won't empty. I have also run 2 (empty) regular loads and it's still full of bleach. This is the second time it has happened. The last time this occured, I ran the tub clean cycle 3 times and it finally emptied. Husband needs work clothes & kids need play clothes washed soon!!!

Answer:
I just had LG authorized service out on this machine for this exact issue. I amounts to a misprint in the Owners Manual. The Tub Clean Cycle is capable of using three different cleaner types; Tablet, Descaler and Bleach, not to be used at the same time, but added directly to the tub before you start the Tub Clean cycle.

Answer:
We remove the drawer, rinse it out and let it dry before putting it back in. Then we wipe out the cavity where the drawer fits. We also dry the door and the rubber gasket on around the opening.

Answer:
The dispenser may need to be cleaned periodically due to laundry additive build-up. Pull the dispenser drawer out until it stops. Press down the Lock Tab on the bleach insert in order to remove the drawer. Remove the liquid detergent box, softener and bleach inserts from their compartments. Run warm water and use a soft brush or cloth on the drawer, boxes and inserts to remove any excess laundry additives. Clean the drawer opening using water and a small brush. Do not use any cleaning substance on the drawer opening other than water because it will drain into the tub. If this should happen, set the washer for a RINSE/SPIN cycle to remove any cleaning substance from the washer before running another load of clothing. This information can be found on page 18 of the owner’s manual.

STACKABLE UNITS

Is the WM2101HW model only stackable/compatible with DLE2101W & DLE2102W Dryers or are all of the stackable LG Washing Machines compatible with all LG stackable Dryers? Is there an additional cost required to install stackable units, such as a bracket kit, etc.? Thanks!

Answer:
All stackable washers are compatible with all stackable dryers - it is not model specific. There is a stacking kit that is recommended to secure the dryer on top of the washer..
