Thank you for your question. The PF error code indicates a power failure. You should be able to unplug, plug back in and start your cycle again. If this issue should continue, you may need service. Please contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000 for troubleshooting tips and service information.

Answer:
It is highly recommended on all front load machines to leave washer door open over night or when not in use to help prevent mold growth in seal. If mold is already present in seal I find using a drain clogging agent to be very useful, it kills any present mold and clears the pipes of any cogs, helps kill any odor as well. (Poor drain cleaner, under flap to rubber sealant when door is open if looking down you will see drain holes and flap area I am talking about.)

If your machine gets a lot of usage as ours does, family of 9... you may want to drain every 2 days or so, add vinegar to your towels or other loads that could use freshening and be softer. Read vinegar label for details. This also helps future odors, as long as you clean machine frequently.

Grease and oil build up and also cause smells and other issues adding pine-sol (see label for details) eliminates these problems from occurring.

Answer:
Run the TUB CLEAN cycle monthly to remove detergent build and other residue:
1. Open the lid and remove any clothing in the wash drum.
2. Open the dispenser drawer.
3. Add liquid chlorine or tub cleaner. Some powdered or tablet tub cleaners which are manufactured for HE machines can be used.
-Do not add any laundry detergent or fabric softener to the drawer when using TUB CLEAN.
-If using powder cleaner remove the liquid detergent cup and add powder cleaner to the main wash compartment of the drawer.
-If using tablet cleaner add the tablet directly to the wash drum, not the dispenser.
4. Close the drawer and washer lid.
5. Select TUB CLEAN and press START/PAUSE.
*If odor already exists, run TUB CLEAN for 3 consecutive weeks. After TUB CLEAN is complete or
when the washer is not in use, leave the washer lid open for better ventilation's and drying
inside of the washer.

Answer:
vinegar is a natural disinfectant i use it in our machine, it helps eliminate odors in both machine and clothes, it helps reduce mold build up in machine, helps clear pipes and drains, and it acts as a softener better than any softener product available.

Answer:
The water temperature, when running WARM water, can get up to 133 degrees for about 4 minutes, when running a standard COTTON NORMAL cycle. A COLD cycle should run between 78 to 105 degrees. These water temperatures are recommended by clothing manufacturers, and as such, to provide the best care for your materials, your washing machine has been designed to match.
