"Our new washer and dryer combo are great. The water savings alone are amazing. They are very large and seem to make a presence in the laundry room. We purchased the matching pedestals to make them easier to load and unload. Without them, it would be difficult. The additional storage is handy for extra towels and cleaning rags. You can even pull them out and set the laundry basket on them. The clothes are just damp coming out of the washer, which makes the drying time much shorter. I will admit that the cycles are long, but the clothes are so clean. We installed the pair in a main floor laundry room. I was concerned about the stability of the floor and possible vibrations. We had added structure for the old units and it was sufficient for this pair as well. They do require a little more work when washing is complete. It was highly recommended that we wipe out the rubber seal and inside the door. It is also necessary to leave the door and dispenser open a little to air out. It appears that this is a problem with all makes though. I hope that future models come with a drying or venting cycle to resolve this. It also would have been handy to change the door opening configuration on the washer so that it opened the other way. All in all, a great machine."

"Having heard so much and read so much about the quality, etc of LG products, we bought several LG appliances at one time - the washer, dryer, and dishwasher. While they seem to work okay, I am not overly impressed with any of them. The washer sounds like it could take off when it is spinning a large load and shakes the whole house. The dryer does not seem to cool things down on the permanent press cycle. The dishwasher cleans so-so. For what we paid for these appliances, I expected much more."
"I very much do not like this machine. This is my first front loader and it is next to useless. I have to sit on the floor to load and unload clothes. I am getting way too old for this. It vibrates too much. Small loads take almost as much time as large loads. I have to wipe out the rubber seal every time I use it. I paid way too much money for this machine. I cannot get a pedestal because I don't have the room for it."

"We bought the stackable LG front load washer and dryer. I have a large family and I do not want to be doing laundry everyday. I am able to fit so much in my washer and dryer that I can wait a week. I can wash extra large loads that always come out clean and fresh. I am amazed how efficient and quiet the machines are. I will never switch!! On top of all that the machines have a style that adds to our laundry room."
