Answer:
I have the same problem. The washing machine takes 2-4 time longer than it used to when I first bought it. The LED display is host and that doesnt help either. Did you find an answer to your problem ?

Answer:
We regret the inconvenience you have experienced with this washing machine. Unfortunately, it is uncertain to what you are referring in saying that it takes 2-4 times longer: Longer than what? If the unit is not operating properly, then it may require service. To make service arrangements, you may either contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000, or you can check our Repair Provider Lookup on our website, at http://www.lg.com/us/support/repair....

Water flowing out of Soap Dispenser

I turned on my model number LG WM2455HW washing machine today and after measuring the size of the load it began to fill with water but, instead of going in to the washer it began to flow out of the soap dispenser drawer. I turned off the washer and checked the clothes and none of them were wet. I am hoping it is just a case of a hose being clogged. Can you help?

We regret the trouble you have experienced with this washing machine. The water should not run through the soap dispenser at the beginning of the cycle. It would seem that this unit will likely require service. To make service arrangements, you may either contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000, or you can check our Repair Provider Lookup on our website, at http://www.lg.com/us/support/repair....

My LG WM-2455HW Front Load Washer has a problem when using HE dry powder detergent, it seems to leave most of the soap in the dispenser. Is this a known problem? Are there any solutions?

Thank you,

Answer:
Make sure powdered detergent is not being added to the liquid detergent cup. You may also need to remove and clean the detergent cups. If this does not resolve the matter, then the unit may require service. To make service arrangements, you may either contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000, or you can check our Repair Provider Lookup on our website, at http://www.lg.com/us/support/repair....

I don't see any water in the washer, but the clothes are wet.

Is this typical of a steam washer?

Answer:
It is normal for a front load washing machine to not have water visible from the door. It is because the water is collected in the outer wash tub. This unit also uses significantly less water than a traditional top load machine.

Answer:
This washing machine has its own, built-in water heater. The purpose of this component is to provide availability for the SANITARY wash cycle, and the EXTRA HOT water temperature. We do not recommend the use of any additional heaters for this unit.
