Answer:
A step stool might come in handy for individuals under 5 1/2 feet tall. Your question is somewhat dependent on the height of the people using the machine.

Answer:
Straighten out any kinks in the drain hose and/or remove any clogs. If unable to drain properly, water may not spin out. Make certain that the drain hose is installed properly, not exceeding maximum height of 100cm from the bottom of the machine. Improper drain hose installation will prevent drainage from machine.

Answer:
To prevent an out-of-balance load, do not wash single items. Add one or two similar items to the load. Large, bulky items, such as a blanket, comforter, or bedspread should be washed individually. Generally speaking, pillows can be washed on the bulky cycle. Please follow the instructions on the label of the pillow for proper cleaning procedures.

Answer:
I apologize for the frustration you are experiencing. There are many factors that can cause an issue such as this. Different minerals in the water or a home water softener system can change the quality of the cleaning. The amount of detergent used is a main cause of poor cleaning performance. Due to the amount of water used per cycle in the High-Efficiency unit, the amount of detergent has to be reduced. Our recommended amount is generally 2 TBSP. The unit does not use enough water to rinse out the clothing properly if too much detergent is used in a cycle. This can cause and odor as well as leave the clothing looking dingy. It is imperative to maintain the unit by following the cleaning instructions in the owner’s manual. In addition front load tub cleaners are available at your local store. All Owner's Manuals are available on our website at www.lg.com.
