Answer:
We regret the difficulty you have experienced with this washing machine. All the rinse cycles use COLD water. If the load is coming out hot, then it would be recommended to check to make sure the water lines have not been reversed. If you have additional questions, please contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000.

If you've got it on the second floor or on a crawlspace/basement under the main floor...you're pretty much out of luck. This is the curse of all front loaders.

Answer:
If your washer is on the second floor or you have a crawlspace/basement under the main floor, it's going to vibrate...which is normal for all front loaders. Not much you can do about it except for if it's a really heavy load of towels or bedding is to stop the cycle and rearrange the load.

Answer:
We regret the inconvenience you have experienced with this washing machine. Check for the Shipping Bolts in the back of the washer cabinet. Check to confirm that the floor is stable enough to withstand the impact shock from the washer spin. Please contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000 to troubleshoot this matter further.

LG washer WM3070HRA loud thud noise

I just bought this washer a few weeks ago its my first front load. I was wondering if it's normal for it to make a loud thud noise at the beginning of cycle. When you first hit start it fills with water then every few seconds you hear a loud thud/clunk noise and the drum rotates a little also. After that initial start cycle its fine.

I have found that mine does the same. I think that the washer is some how weighing and figuring out how much is in the tub to determine the length of time it will take to wash. My 2 cents
