Answer:
I had this problem with my first front loader. Solution was to leave the door and dispenser open after the cycle ends. I continue to do this with my new front loader although after a day or 2 I partially close the door and slide the dispenser in half way.

Answer:
I use a product called Afresh to clean this washer about once a month. I keep the door cracked open and pull open, just a little bit, the detergent drawer to keep the washer dried out. It also wouldn't hurt to wipe down the clear plastic part of the door if you live in a real humid climate. I have had the mold problem with another front load I owned, but so far so good with this one as long as I take a moment to care for it at the end of my wash.

Answer:
After wash cycles, leave the door open. Wipe off the interior glass door and rubber seal and you will not have mold problems.

Answer:
I am not aware of any issues with mold growing in these machines. Mold growing is usually do to the owner not using the machine correctly. If you take out the washing and close the door while there is still water residue, you are virtually begging for mold to grow. Leave the door slightly open and presto the mold issue becomes moot

Answer:
Front load washers, from all manufacturers, require regular maintenance to maintain optimum performance. If this maintenance is not followed, residue can accumulate in the drum. Performance of proper maintenance, such as the use of the TUB CLEAN cycle is known to reduce or eliminate this occurrence.

Answer:
Bill, thank you for your interest in the LG - SteamWasher 4.0 Cu. Ft. 9-Cycle Ultralarge-Capacity High-Efficiency Steam Front-Loading Washer, model # WM3250HVA. Yes you can add more water to the wash and rinse cycles. There are specific instructions on how this can be done in the owner's manual on page 26. Try this link...http://www.lg.com/us/support-product/lg-WM3250HVA# and then download the user manual or if you do not want to download it, visit the Home Depot site and navigate to the washer dryer page, select LG washers and on the second page of the LG selections, scroll halfway down to find the model, click on that and the then click on use and care manual and that will bring the manual up for you to read the instructions on how to add water during those cycles...

LG WM3250HVA

Prior to purchasing this washer, I read in the specifications that the machine has the "add a garment" feature. I just recently installed this appliance but am unable to find anywhere in your literature or on the machine itself, how to operate this feature. Please advise.

Answer:
We appreciate your interest in this washing machine. It is uncertain where this ADD A GARMENT mode may have been mentioned on this model. In reviewing the Owner’s Manual, Specifications Sheet and website, no such function has been located. It may be possible to add an item by simply pressing the PAUSE button to temporarily suspend the cycle while adding an item. Be aware, however, that one may find additional water being added to the cycle due to the weight of any wet clothes after the Pause. If there are any additional questions in this matter, please contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000.

i put my clothes to wash around 7:00 pm and around 10:00 pm i noticed that it was still washing and had been stuck on 8 minutes for a while. I tried to open the door to stop it from washing, but i wouldnt open so i turned off the machine to try and reopen the door, it still wouldnt it. So i turned off the whole power, got the door open and all my clothes were soaked. when i emptied the machine, there was still water inside and it read FE. What do i do?
