What is ok to wash in front loader?

We just purchased the WM3360HVCA washer and am in need of washing decorative pillows and the down cushion cover for my couch. My question is, am I able to wash these in the front loader without harming the washer?? And if so, which cycle do you recommend?

Answer:
We appreciate your interest in this washing machine and its capabilities. It is recommended to check the label on each of these items to ensure that they are, in fact, machine washable. If they are, follow the wash instructions, on the label, for wash temperature and cycle selection. If the pillows are machine washable, make sure that the load is properly balanced. Extra water may need to be added due to bulk compared to weight of the load.

How to deal with odor?

My washing machine has developed an odor after 5 months of use. Is there anything I can do to make the odor go away? I've tried running empty loads, using white vinegar, but the odor is still there.

Answer:
A buildup of detergent residue can occur in the wash tub over time and can lead to a mildew or musty smell. The TUB CLEAN cycle is specially designed to remove this buildup. Fill the bleach dispenser to the MAX. line. Press and hold the STAIN CARE button for 3 seconds to activate this cycle. Once this cycle is complete, safely and conveniently secure the door slightly ajar with the magnetic door plunger. This will promote air circulation and allow the interior of the machine to dry. Do NOT use this cycle with clothes and do NOT add detergent or fabric softener. If you use the TUB CLEAN cycle on a monthly basis, the wash drum will be kept clean.

Answer:
Have you tried using a level and make sure it is completely level, if its uneven it will vibrate to point of shaking, it does spin up to something like 1200 rpm. Turn each leg to adjust the height until the washer is level. If that doesn't fix your problem then you need a service call. I hope this helps.

Answer:
We regret the inconvenience you have experienced with this washing machine. Vibrations in the machine can be caused by an improperly leveled machine or a floor that is not sufficiently stable. It can also happen from too large or too small of a load. Wood flooring has a tendency to give under the impact of the washer spin, which can lead to vibrations. If these are not the case, then it is also possible to obtain non-skid pads for the unit from our parts distributor. Accessories can be obtained through our parts distributor, MCM Electronics. Their contact number, for placing orders, is 800-824-9491. The part number listed for the non-skid pads is AGM73171801. If this still does not resolve the matter, then the unit may require service. To make service arrangements, you may either contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000, or you can check our Repair Provider Lookup on our website, at http://www.lg.com/us/support/repair....

Answer:
The water is super heated to 212 degress F. It pulls from the waterline in the washer, and from a steam reservoir in the dryer. Steam is periodically added to each cycle, refer to manual for more information on a one-by-one basis.

Answer:
TrueSteam™ technology gently but powerfully penetrates fabrics for a deeper clean, while also offering a freshening cycle that reduces wrinkles and odors. It can also use less water than traditional washers, so you won’t take a bath on your bills.
