How do I add vinegar to the rinse cycle? Can I do so without damaging the machine or accessories?

Thanks!

Answer:
I have read on a few sites that you can just use it in place of fabric softener in the dispenser. I have had my washer for just over a month and have been using vinegar without a problem. While the drum is stainless steel it mixes in with water from what I can tell so I think the chances of it causing a problem are low if there are any. My son has allergies and fabric softener bothers him so I have been using vinegar for years, but I only recently switched to this washer.

We appreciate your interest in this washing machine. This washer is designed to lock the door during its operation. The same will be true during the RINSE cycle.

Answer:
If I have something that specifies "hand wash", I hand wash, no exceptions. I've never seen a "hand wash" setting on a washer...but I'm no washer expert. I would assume that the "delicates" cycle would closest resemble an actual hand wash.

Answer:
I haven't had that issue. There is a filter at the bottom front left corner that you are suppose to clean out once a month. If someone has cleaned that out and not properly tightened that certainly could leak. When you do go to clean out that filter you would want to put a thick towel under the front of the machine just to catch the water the will come from that filter area. It will be a lot.

How do I turn off the Turbowash option on the "normal/cotton" cycle?

When I want a longer cycle, I would like to turn off the Turbowash feature, but the washer only beeps at me and will not allow me to do it when I am on the normal/cotton cycle. Even switching the soil level does not turn off the Turbowash feature.

Answer:
I don' think there is any advantage to turning off turbo wash. By increasing soil level you can have the wash extended to 1hr 33 min. The turbo wash has the advantage of soaking the clothes in soap as well as having them tumble in the tub to clean.

Answer:
We regret the trouble you have experienced with this washing machine. The Turbowash feature is designed to deactivate at the end of each cycle, and not be used during the next, unless specifically selected. If this option does not deactivate, then the washer may require service. To make service arrangements, you may either contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000, or you can check our Repair Provider Lookup on our website, at http://www.lg.com/us/support/repair....

Hi LG!
We love our new washing machine. Unfortunately, it's making our pipes hammer like crazy when it is filling up. Is there any way to fix this??

Thanks!

Answer:
Go to a home improvement store, buy 2 water hammer arresters. Turn off the water supply valves and remove the fill hoses from the inlet valves. Do this one hose at a time so you don't confuse the hot and cold water lines. Install the water hammer arrester to the inlet valve, then attach the fill hose to the arrester. Repeat on the other inlet valve. Turn the water supply back on and check for leaks. This will get rid of the water hammer once and for all.

Answer:
If you are experiencing a water hammer effect in your pipes, there is a way to resolve that. Try the following steps to attempt resolution to the situation. Shut off the main water valve to the home. Turn on all the faucets, opening the lowest one last (this is usually the faucet on the outside, for a garden hose). Once the lines are empty, turn off all the faucets. Turn on the main water valve. Turn on the faucets again, one at a time, from the lowest to the highest.
