Best washer we have ever owned
It's beautiful, quiet, efficient and really cleans everthing. Large enough for big loads but, also does small loads. You could hear abd feel our old washer in the next room. We love it.

We've had this washer for a few months now and for the most part it has been terrific. I do not notice the "cleaner clothes" compared to our previous washer as some other posters have commented, I actually notice the whites are not as bright, but still satisfactory. We have had 2 service calls on it so far, both for the lettering on the control panels actually dripping off - almost like it was put on with a marker. The service tech seems to think it was a bad batch that went through the printer. The Dryer has had no issues to date. My only other complaint is the on and off again noise with the wash cycles, there's something about not having a "continuous" sound that can be irritating. This washer is not cheap and could use a little refinement, almost feels like how they tell you not to buy a new model car in the first year - let them work out the bugs first.

The is the Top Washer of the Industry!
I've had my washer for about two months now. I love everything about it. I was able to buy it at a great price through the Home Depot during the holidays when LG also had a sale, so I feel the value for the numerous features can't be beat. I love love the chardonnay color. It really makes my laundry room stand out. I actually look forward to doing laundry. The timing bell is so pleasant the whole family enjoys hearing it. It takes a while to learn all the features, but they are easy to use. I had to refer to the manual several times because there are so many of them. It definitely gets my clothes cleaner than my 24 yr old washer. It's amazing it can get the clothes clean with so little water. The only sound I hear is the slouching of clothes as it washes. I use the bright white features to wash my whites and my socks do come out cleaner. The status screen is a cool feature. It actually has a animated wave as it's washing and will show you how many minutes is left before the load is done. I have had absolutely no odor, but I do wipe the rim when I'm done and leave the door slightly ajar. There is a sanitary feature to clean the washer with bleach if you do have a mold problem. It's the only washer that has an allergen feature to kill dust mites etc. I also bought the pedestals, and I'm glad I spent the extra money to do so. I can't imagine bending my back for years to come. I store my manuals and extra detergent there. I was concern that I might have LG service problems, but that was not the case. I had an incident with my dryer (not LGs fault see my dryer review) and an authorized dealer came out quickly. In fact, LG customer service called and asked me how it went. Now that is service! This is the top of the line folks. If you want the best get this one. P. S. I am not associated with LG, but if they want to pay me to do a commercial, I would do it in a heart beat :)

we love our washer. it took some getting used to, not the vanilla washer we had before that used 40+ gallons per wash load and still left clothes needing another wash trip. This does it all using just the right amount of detergent and water for the amount of clothes you put in. Thanks LG!
