Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quiet, efficient, effective. Check door opening I purchased this unit and had it delivered. First things first. It's big. In and out, check your depths, widths. It is a serious machine that will process the laundry. Also it works. The clothes seem to get very clean, even with our hard Texas water. The spin cycle seems to get a couple extra drips of water out that most machines would not. I like not having to run the dryer anymore than I have to and it works great with athletic gear that is challenging to dry. Downsides--The door mounts one way. We put the washer to the right of the dryer and cannot change the door mount from the left (drier side) to the right to avoid having to swing wet laundry out and around. Also the cycles don't seem to be customizable. I want an efficient cycle for work out gear where i use cold temp wash, high speed spin. I use this several times a week, but I can't get it to be the default or a "special" programmed cycle. Maybe I am not looking hard enough. Anyway, good out weighs the small issues and I would buy another one, but I would plan the water/drain hookups so that I didn't have the door issue!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can wash all my laundry in one load! My husband and I really enjoy this product. Pros are you can wash a ton at once and it does a great job. The Cons are that they're pretty large, so they dominate the laundry room. I also don't like the washer being a bit high maintenance. There's a lint area that gathers water and has to be emptied. It's not difficult to empty but the tube is short so it's difficult not to get water everywhere while doing it. I also find the softener dispenser a bit finicky. Id prefer a different system since it likes to build residue and doesn't empty the softener completely. These are just nit picks. I'm very happy with our purchase. I like that I get notified by the app when my laundry is finished. Smart home tech is neat

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this washer. Well worth the money. I bought the 5.2cuft sized of this same washer in Sept of 2016 and I am enjoying every bit of it. It has a lot of options that suits my needs and it really washes the clothes very well. The nice thing is that you can load a lot more to wash cutting your wash time. Another good feature is that you can add to the wash once the cycle starts. This was one concern for me when considering between top loader vs front loader. I even love turning the light on in the washer and sit and watch the clothes wash. Such a pretty washer. My one wish though is that the manual was more discriptive as sometimes you would like know what is happening in the cycles. Also the front readout features would say for example second rinse because some cycles do have two rinse but since it does not carry a lot of water you will not see it when rinsing. This is also why I turn on the interior light.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Door error and won't power up I have an LG front loading washing machine. It's been nothing but problems. First the drain pump, then the gasket, then the door switch, now it won't power up. We've changed out 2 door switches, we still get the DE code. Majority of the time the machine will not power up, the "Reset" doesn't work. Some think it is the PCB board, but that is discontinued. Got that fixed at a repair shop. Machine still won't work. I just can't keep throwing money at this pig. Stay away from this machine. They dryer works good!

The washer's locked door light keeps blinking! Can't open door!

We regret the trouble you have experienced with this washing machine. If the temperature of the interior of the drum is greater than 113 degrees, then the lock is designed to remain engaged. It is suggested to press the door back into place to see if this releases the latch. Please contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000 for additional suggestions.

do any LG front load washers have a Fresh Hold feature or a large detergent reservoir for automatic dispensing? Thanks

The "Fresh Hold" feature is a feature used by another brand of washing machine and is not a feature used by LG Washing machines. The ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG SIGNATURE 5.8 cu. ft. Mega Capacity Washer, Model # WM9500HKA has a four-compartment dispenser makes it easy to separate the pre-wash detergent, main laundry detergent, liquid bleach, and fabric softener into different compartments. If using a liquid detergent, you would need to make sure that the liquid detergent cup is in place, and if using a powdered detergent, you would need to remove the liquid detergent cup and put the powder in the main wash detergent compartment...^IFV

My front load LG washer stopped pumping water out
