Family Day Out Promotion

  1. The LG Promotion will start from 23 August 2016 and end on 30 September 2016 inclusive (“Promotion”) , after which date the promotion automatically lapse and no further entries will be accepted.

  2. Any person participating in this promotion does so on acceptance of these terms and conditions.

  3. The promotion is organized by LG Electronics S.A. (Pty)Ltd and s open to and offered to all members of the public purchasing products as stated in clause 4 from participating stores and who reside in South Africa, are natural persons and who are 18(eighteen) years of age at the commencement at the date of the promotion.

  4. In order to enter the promotion, participants must purchase any below LG Home appliances namely:
    • Washing Machines

    • Dish Washers

    • Tumble Dryers

    • Microwaves

    • Fridges

  5. Upon purchase of the LG Home Appliances, participants will receive a Family day out voucher for 4(four) people, inclusive of 2(two) adults and 2(two) children, under the age of 18(eighteen) years of age.

The Reward
The purchase of any LG Home Appliances qualifies the participant to the following reward:
  • 1 X Family Day Out Ticket for 4(four) persons (“reward”)

Campaign Mechanic
  1. Upon purchasing any LG Home Appliance(s) as per clause 4, participants are required to send through their proof of purchase via Whatsapp to 079 173 0705.

  2. All participants will be sent a booking form by TLC Worldwide Marketing(“agent”) upon verification of their entry. All booking forms must be submitted by 24h00 on 31 October 2016 and the experience must be taken on or before 31 December 2016. Please allow 5(five) days for confirmation of your booking.

  3. All bookings are subject to promotional availability in the area of your choice.

  4. The reward cannot be transferred, refunded, substituted, amended, exchanged or redeemed for cash.

  5. LG reserves the right to withdraw or substitute the reward with other rewards of greater and / or equal value.

  6. All risks and ownership of the reward shall pass to the participant upon transfer thereof and hence all of LG’s obligations in regard to this promotion as well as in regard to the reward shall terminate.

  7. In the event of a dispute in regard to any aspect of this promotion and/or these terms and conditions, LG’s decision will be final and binding and no correspondence may be entered into.

  8. User data collected for this promotion will not be used for any other purpose than for this promotion only.

  9. LG shall utilize all reasonable precautions to ensure that all paticipants’ personal information is kept safe and secure during the promotion period and shall dispose of such information thereafter.

  10. LG may refuse to supply the reward if these terms and conditions have not been adhered to or if it detects any irregularities or fraudulent practices. LG is entitled in its entire discretion to reject any participant for any reason.

  11. Neither LG nor any other person or party associated with this promotion, their associated companies, agents, contractors and sponsors and any of its personnel involved in this promotion, shall be liable whatsoever for any loss or damage incurred or suffered (including but not limited to direct or indirect or consequential loss), death or personal injury suffered or sustained arising from either participation in this promotion or from utilising the reward.

  12. LG reserves the right to amend, cancel, terminate or alter this promotion immediately and without notice in the event that this promotion is held to be or becomes unlawful. In such event all participants hereby waive any rights which they may have against LG and acknowledge that they will have no recourse or claim of any nature whatsoever against LG.

  13. To the extent permitted by the Consumer Protection Act and any other applicable law:
    a. The participant(s) hereby indemnify LG against any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential or punitive damages or loss of any kind regardless of how this was caused, and whether it arose under the law of contract or delict or otherwise, because of the participants entrance to the promotion.

  14. By submitting an entry, participants accept and unconditionally agree with the above terms and conditions.

  15. LG may refuse to award the reward if entry procedures or these terms and conditions have not been adhered to or if it detects any irregularities or fraudulent practices. LG is entitled in its entire discretion to reject any participant for any reason and will not be obliged to notify consumer that they are rejected.

General
a. LG may in their sole discretion amend these terms and conditions at any time, without notice, and such amendments shall be deemed to have taken effect from the date of publication of the revised terms and conditions on the LG’s website http:// http://www.lge.com/za The onus rests on the participant to constantly check the website for updates to the terms and conditions.
b. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of LG, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorized intervention or fraud, LG reserve the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any participant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion as appropriate, subject to the approval of relevant regulatory authorities.
c. Save as permitted by Law, LG reserves the right to cancel, suspend or terminate this promotion, without notice at any time, and such cancellation, termination or termination shall be deemed to have taken effect from the date of publication on LG’s website www.lge.com/za No liability shall lie against LG in favor of any participant and/ or third party arising from such cancellation, suspension or termination. LG accepts no liability or responsibility, whether occasioned by any circumstance not foreseeable and not within its reasonable control by any means, any civil commotion or disorder, riot, threat of war, any action taken by governmental authority or public authority of any kind, fire, explosion, storm, flood, earth quake or other acts of God.
g. If part or all of any clause of these terms and conditions is illegal, invalid or unenforceable:

h. It will be read down to the extent necessary to ensure that it is not illegal, invalid or unenforceable, but if that is not possible;
i. It will be severed from these terms and conditions and the remaining provisions of these terms and conditions will continue to have full force and effect.
