    E500-J** Windows XP Installation (Downgrade) Guide
    Reference

    XP Installation

    Pls refer on below procedure to install and use Windows XP in E500-J model.

    ▶ Applied Model
    . Model : E500-J** Model
    . Install OS : Window XP

    ▶ Overall Procedure to us XP
    1. (XP clean install)
    2. Driver install 
    3. BIOS flash (mandatory)

    ▶ Driver Install
    1. Download driver image file from below site (iso format)
    - ftp://156.147.161.20/WINXP/Manaslu2/XP_Drivers/1.0MS_20080225.iso
    ※ Pls connect by using RFTP server.
    2. Run burning utility and burn it into CD
    3. Insert CD and install all related applications & drivers as below
    * Video -> Open a ATI folder -> Execute 'Setup.exe'
    * Bluetooth (It include both driver and application)
    -> Open a Bluetooth folder -> Execute 'Setup.exe'
    * Cardreader->Open a Cardreader folder ->Execute 'Setup.exe'
    * IP Operator (It support both wired and wireless for changing IP)->Open a IPOP folder
    ->Execute 'Setup.exe'
    * Ethernet ->Open a LAN Folder ->Execute 'Setup.exe'
    * Modem ->Open a Modem folder ->Execute 'Setup.exe'
    * Norton Antivirus ->Open a ENG folder in NAV folder ->Execute 'NAVsetup.exe'
    * Audio -> Open a Realtek folder -> Execute 'Setup.exe'
    * System Control Manager ->Open a SCM folder -> Execute 'SCMSetup.exe'
    * Windows update
    ->Open a WINXPSP2 folder in Supp folder->And execute EXE file in each folder.
    * Touchpad ->Open a Touchpad folder ->Execute setup.exe
    * Wireless Lan
    ->Open a Azurewave Folder in Wireless ->Execute Setup.exe


    ▶ BIOS Install
    1. Pls follow instruction on attached "AMI BIOS Method In Window" file
