LG's 4th Generation Inverter
MULTI V S has a high efficiency inverter scroll compressor with a frequency range from 15Hz to 150Hz. It helps improve performance with low vibration and reduced noise.
Excellent Compressor Speed
With a wide frequency from 15Hz to 150Hz*, MULTI V S improves part load efficiency, enhancing the rapid response capability. The concentrated motor provides a compact core design for the compressor.
High Pressure Compressor
Due to high temperature and pressure, viscosity of oil is secured, thus there is no need for an oil pump. This increases compressor efficiency.
6 By-pass Valve
Compressor reliability is improved with 6 by-pass valves, as it prevents compressor damage caused by excessively compressed refrigerant.
High Reliability at All Capacities
A rotary compressor is installed for models with capacity below 15.5kW, whilst a scroll compressor is applied for models over 15.5kW - making it highly reliable and efficient at a range of capacities.
Smart Load Control
MULTI V S controls refrigerant temperature according to indoor, outdoor and setting temperatures. This helps optimise energy efficiency by saving up to 13％ and helps maximise indoor comfort level in cooling/heating modes.
