Sydney, Australia, 19 February 2009 - Over one hundred members of LG Electronics Australia's sales and executive team have brought some sunshine into the lives of Queensland-based children.

During LG's Annual National Sales Conference, held at the Sunshine Coast last week, the sales force took part in some team building activities and were given the task of building over thirty bicycles against the clock.

However, instead of being just another corporate exercise, LG had teamed up with children's charity Queensland Variety, to donate the bicycles built by the hard working team, to a number of disadvantaged and disabled children living in the Sunshine coast area.

Graeme Cunningham, Director of Sales at LG Electronics Australia commented, "We're delighted to have been able to actually make a difference to the lives of some fantastic kids. We understand these bikes will be used to promote programs to help children learn some basic road rules, give them confidence and help them develop their motor skills."

Mark Smith, Sunshine Coast Co-ordinator at Queensland Variety commented, "We are extremely grateful for LG's generosity and for making so many disadvantaged children happy. Our primary aim is to raise funds for disabled and disadvantaged children and I know that each and every one of the children receiving a bike, have the LG sales force to thank."
