Your LG refrigerator is equipped with a DEMO or DISPLAY MODE. This feature disables all cooling in the refrigerator and freezer sections to conserve energy while on display in a retail store.
When DEMO MODE is activated, O FF will appear on the control panel.
For most models, to deactivate DEMO MODE:
Method 1:
- To Enable or Disable this feature requires the left hand door to be open. Then hold the Refrigerator button and press the Express Freeze button 3 times.
Method 2:
- To Enable or Disable this feature requires the left hand door to be open. Then hold the Express Freeze button and press the Refrigeration button 3 times.
Method 3:
- To Enable to Disable this feature requires the left hand door to be open. Then simultaneously press and hold the refrigerator button and the express freezer (can be called Ice Plus on some models) buttons for 5 seconds.
