What People Are Saying

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good monitor The display is great. Would be nice if it had adjustable height and perhaps speakers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Execellent Bought the monitor to run on my MacBook Pro and it started flawlessly and has ran perfect since. The adjustments are easy to select and navigate through all the options. The picture is nice, clear and the granularity is very good. Very satisfied

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Have gone Ultra Wide and would never go back! Been a computer gamer for many years, and when I say many years I mean, I raised my boys to be gamers and tech savy. The oldest is now 27 so we have seen a lot of computer products go through this house over the years. I remember the CRT monitors and kept upgrading those monsters until LCD came on the market. Now I'm into flat screens and upgraded to this 29 inch Ultra Wide from dual 24 inch LED monitors. As stated I'm a gamer and have a friend who owns a computer store so he keeps me in the loop on hot products. I regularly upgrade graphics cards and monitors when I see something that will significantly enhance my online gaming experience. This LG 29 inch was recommended by my friend. I upgraded as I wanted the wider field of view in multiplayer games. I bought it for the wider screen but immediately noticed that the screen colors and overall presentation was easier on the eyes. I game and surf the net a lot in the dark. Many monitors I have used have a lot of glare regardless of adjustment, that eventually is hard on the eyes. This LG monitor is fantastic in the dark; has quick adjust settings depending on if your gaming, surfing or watching video's. I really like that my eyes do not strain with this monitor in the dark. Everything just looks better. I still run two monitors side by side, so I really see the difference every day. I still run another brands LED 24 inch widescreen for secondary applications like TeamSpeak, surfing while in a gaming que, etc. My LG Ultra Wide is my main monitor and just has a much better quality picture. I have felt this was an excellent improvement to my computer system and totally make use of the wider aspect ratio in my online games. Great monitor that I can recommend without reservation!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from New to ultra wide screen. I had originally bought the 27mp77 27" IPS monitor, I was really pleased with its performance but had seen this 29" go on sale. I returned the LG 27 and took this baby home. It's definitely intimidating at first but its very useful and cuts back on application switching, you just leave windows opened and organized. Most of the games I've played have accepted the higher resolution without issue. Feels way better to have the wide screen. It gives you the "feel" of 3 bridged monitors without the need of 3 monitors. I'm happy with it, I wish it was more aesthetically pleasing like the 27" I traded in, but I don't have any regrets otherwise. Higher resolution would be nice, but the price point was so good you really can't worry about that.
