LG Electronics Canada shines with Silver Sponsorship of RBC Canadian Open

Leading consumer electronics firm announces its support of Canada’s  only PGA tour stop

Mississauga, Ontario, May 22, 2008 – LG Electronics Canada and the Royal  Canadian Golf Association (RCGA) announced today that LG Canada has signed an  agreement to become a Silver Sponsor of the 2008 RBC Canadian Open. The two-year  deal will run through 2009. Financial details and terms of the partnership were  not disclosed.

LG Electronics is no stranger to the golf world, as they  are the title sponsor of the annual LG Skins Game in Indian Wells, California, won in both 2006 and 2007 by Canada's own  Stephen Ames. Their RBC Canadian Open agreement will mark LG's first  sponsorship of professional golf on Canadian soil.
