The unit I replaced was 10 years old and did not have not any issues. I am seeking a full refund. I do not want something repaired that's only 1.5 years old

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointed!! Loved it until it stopped cooling after only 18 months. Lost hundreds of dollars’ worth of food. Technician found problem, but parts will take 7-10 days to come in!! Really??!! When there’s such a thing as overnight delivery? This is unacceptable!! And now we’re wondering how long it will be before something else goes wrong. We have totally lost faith in LG products—will never buy another one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I have a love/hate relationship with the icemaker I've had this refrigerator for a year now, and overall I am very pleased with it. The water filter takes up very little room and very easy to replace. The touch screen for choosing ice/water/etc. is great. I am thrilled with the fact that the ice maker is in the door of the freezer, rather than taking up valuable space in the freezer itself. After it was installed, I put everything that had just fit in the old freezer into the new one, and had 1 1/2 shelves left empty!!! According to the specs, they were the same capacity. The shelves in the refrigerator and its door seem to work better than in my old refrigerator, but there isn't much flexibility and I had to adjust to putting tall items in a different place than I would have preferred, but now I am used to it and its fine. I do seem to have a problem with getting the ice maker in the freezer to stop producing ice. The pressure bar to prevent overflow doesn't function, so at one point I turned the ice maker off, and then turned it back on for the summer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great, right up to the point when it quit working. I bought this refrigerator in July 27, 2016. It quit cooling all together two days ago ( July 17th, 2019 ). I just called LG customer service. They seem to think it’s the compressor that went out. It’s under warranty for that. But they said the soonest that they get a technician out to my house to repair it is August 5th ( it’s July 20th ). Really??? That’s B.S. I have a family that needs a working refrigerator today. Will LG be paying me back for the hundreds of dollars worth of groceries that are spoiling? This will be the last time I’ll buy anything made by this company. Don’t buy one of these refrigerators.
