Free courses prepare engineers and installers for Summer 2010 and beyond

Slough, 25 May, 2010 -LG Electronics (LG), a global leader and technology innovator in electronics, today announced its June 2010 programme of air conditioning courses, to take place the new LG Academy in Slough.

Now open for business, the LG Training Academy will run its inaugural air conditioning training programme from 1st – 24th June, 2010. Aimed at consultants, sales engineers, installation and servicing professionals across the air conditioning industry, the programme of seven FREE courses will cover the specification, quotation, installation and servicing of the latest aircon systems including VRF, split and multi split, Multi V Mini and Therma V systems. An additional three-day Commissioning Package is also available at a small charge.

With increasing demand for air conditioning technology throughout the commercial and now domestic environments, it is vital that the specifiers, contractors and installers are up-to-date with the newest technology. These carefully-designed one day courses – which include classroom as well as practical and outdoor teaching – are designed to keep air conditioning industry professionals fully informed and at the forefront of their industries.

Expanding upon aircon technology, and in recognition of the projected growth in the market for heat pumps, the programme will also cover an introduction to LG’s Therma V range of heat pumps and provide a specification and installation overview.

The LG Training Academy Summer 2010 Programme will take place as follows:

All courses run from 8.30am – 3.00pm and will be held at the LG Training Academy, Bath Road, Slough, Berkshire.

According to Mike Briskman of LG, the inaugural summer programme at the LG Training Academy could not come at a better time.

“At a time of significant growth in the UK air conditioning market as well as strong projected growth in the heat pump market, heating and cooling technology is developing all the time. As a consequence, it is vital that the industry stays up-to-date with the latest developments if they are not to be left behind.

“That’s why we developed the LG Training Academy – to promote and develop the skills that the aircon, heating and plumbing industries need to stay ahead of the game. At LG, we believe that 2010 is a very exciting time to be in the energy solutions business and we want to take the consultants, contractors and other industry professionals along with us.”
