LG Electronics air-conditioning academy opens

LG Electronics on Wednesday opened its first Commercial Air-conditioning Academy in Lagos in an event that attracted top Architects, Consulting Engineers, Project Managers and other professionals in the building services sector in the country.

The General Manager, CAC Operations in Nigeria, Mr. Anupam Ghosal, said the academy was born out of LG Electronics’ passion for technological and human capital development.

According to him the objectives of the academy among others was to ensure adequate training support for all practicing consultants in the commercial air-conditioning in this country.

Besides, he added that the academy would enhance training for both professional installers and maintenance technicians, who were engaged in commercial air-conditioning in Nigeria.

He said the academy was also established to give enormous support to all LG air-conditioning projects in Nigeria.
