LG has prioritized sustainability for healthy and better lifestyle.

    With UVnano™, LEDs emit purifying UV rays remove bacteria growth from the water dispenser tap3), making both safer for a healthy home setting.

2) Reduction of cold air loss up to 41 percent based on Intertek testing of models SX5534WB, GR-S632GLRC and LFX3194ST/02 using LG internal testing method measuring percentage reduction in exchange rate of air when opening Door-in-Door™ compared to regular refrigerator door for 10 seconds. Results may vary by model and duration of door opening.
3) Assessed by TÜV Rheinland using LG testing method measuring reduction of Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa in distilled water samples after exposure to product's UV LED for 10 minutes per hour after total of 24 hours in normal household use setting. Actual results may vary depending on environmental conditions and usage.

    Delivers an efficient cooling performance, using up to 70 percent less energy than conventional residential air conditioning solutions.1)

    Next-Generation Refrigerant

    By adopting a low global warming potential (GWP) refrigerant (R32) to its various heating and air conditioning solution, LG is presenting solutions that pose less threat to the environment.

1) Based on TÜV Rheinland tests conducted according to LG internal test methods comparing cooling time and power consumption. Test conducted in a chamber of 69㎥ (4.3 x 7.0 x 2.3m) at a temperature of 33℃ with a relative humidity of 60 percent using LG air conditioner with DUAL Inverter Compressor (model US-Q242Kxy0) and LG air conditioner with constant speed compressor (model TS-H2465DA0). Energy savings is measured by comparing the power consumption of the two models during 8 hours of operation. Cooling speed is measured by the time it takes to cool the chamber from 33℃ to 26.5℃.
2) Removes up to 99.99 percent of bacteria – Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Klebsiella pneumoniae – from the fan according to tests conducted by TÜV Rheinland with models S3NM12JL1GA (SJ), S3NM09AA1MA (SA) and S3NM24K21GA (SK) using LG test method in compliance with ISO 20743:2007.

LG Recycling Center

Helping to create the virtuous cycle by improving recycling efficiency and reducing the environmental impact from products reaching the end of their lifespan, LG runs a recycling facility in its home country. Every year, LG Recycling Center recycles more than half a million home appliances, producing 20,000 tons of recycled materials.

    Voice Guide
