LG opens eco-friendly new research campus
The solar generation in the system comes from nearly 8,300 of LG’s NeON® 2 solar panels installed in LG Science Park located in Magok, Gangseo District, in western Seoul. LG NeON® 2 will provide power to most of the 20 building of the complex.
LG Science Park is Korea’s biggest research hub in western Seoul opened in April 2018.
This complex is equipped with eco-friendly energy saving technologies, such as a smart LED lighting and a cooling and heating system that utilizes the land it is built on, as well as solar panels and energy storage systems.It will be able to save energy usage by 38%.
