Background & Challenge
IREO is a leading property developer in India and they are well-known for providing state-of-the-art luxury air-conditioned apartments. IREO Uptown was their new project with the goal of building the iconic new complex in Gurgaon, the suburb of Delhi. Each apartment promised to be a pool of fresh ideas shaped into living spaces.
Centralized air-conditioned apartments have higher maintenance cost compared to other apartments, and thus, it dissuades the buyers. Centralized air-conditioning for unoccupied apartments could result in huge waste of energy while the power tariff in Gurgaon is very high. In order to attract customers by building a competitive edge, IREO targeted over 30% reduction in energy cost compared to split air-conditioners. Moreover, with the major space constraint for the installation, the client was looking for a space saving solution. The space available in the balcony was highly limited and it was very difficult to access.
LG provided perfect solution for limited installation space with side discharge VRF system, the MULTI V S.
Each unit was fitted with an individual MULTI V S unit. It was a major challenge to install the product within a very constrained area with low availability of space. MULTI V S was the best option as it was energy efficient while it helped maintaining the beauty of the apartment, which directly served the independent needs of the unit. Moreover, advanced designing approach in terms of technology and engineering was required for this high-rise building located at specific area with high average temperature. Based on close analysis of CFD data, LG team was able to provide the best installation environment.
