LG’s first TV, produced by predecessor Gold Star.
This TV was the first-ever black & white TV to be produced in South Korea.
It symbolized the monumental leap into the TV market.

World’s First Computerized Color TV
Surprised? It’s hard to believe that LG was the first to produce the computerized Color TV. In this day and age, it may seem so obvious that products come pre-installed with features such as sleep mode and a digital clock. But at the time, LG was the world’s first to utilize computer technology to apply such functions to the TV.

World’s First All-in-One TV with a CDG Player
LG earned the title of “world’s first” again, with the introduction of an all-in-one TV boasting a CDG player. In an era that was producing CD & VCR integrated products, LG pushed the boundaries and produced TVs that were ahead of its time.

At the time, the next biggest television paled in comparison at a mere 30 inches.
