Insurance:

• Customer shall be eligible for insurance coverage ranging from 1 to 5 years depending upon the invoice value of the purchased LG products. Slab wise coverage is as below:

  *on LG products only. In case of multiple brand product purchased, customer should get separate invoice for LG products. Invoice value is inclusive of taxes.
• Customer should register for the insurance offer on link https://www.lg.com/in/product-assurance-insurance-offers. Within 7 days from invoice date of product to avail the benefit.
• Coverage start date will be date of invoice date. However, any incident or event should be after the date of registration. Only successful registrations shall be eligible for entitled benefit.
• Under the insurance cover, Home contents are covered against Standard Fire & Special Perils (Fire, Storm, tempest, Flood inundation and Earthquake) and burglary, while the LG product purchased under subject invoice is additionally protected against accidental damage from dropping / falling of item insured itself or dropping/falling of other objects during installation or after installation.

Accidental Damage cover is available only against LG products purchased under the subject invoice.

• Insurance is available only at the Residential location and whilst at the location declared for insurance including for the LG products purchased vide invoice. Change of residential address is not permitted under this coverage.
• In case of multiple certificates for single risk location, insurer's maximum liability shall be limited to ₹10 lacs per risk location. Only one risk location is allowed for coverage under one invoice.
• Deductible for Burglary: 1% of claim amount subject to minimum of ₹500 for each and every loss.
• Policy shall be subject to the terms and conditions mentioned therein, customer shall be bound by the same:

  1. The customer is liable is share correct and complete information, which will be the basis of our insurance contract.
  2. Keep Home Contents in good condition and well maintained.
  3. In case of claim, the customer must allow inspection and investigation and make true statements and full disclosure in the claim and related documents.
• Policy Excludes
  1. loss or damage caused by mysterious disappearance or unexplained loss;
  2. Damage due to any sort of negligence
  3. Theft is not covered
  4. any electrical/electronic machine, fixture, or fitting, etc by overrunning, excessive pressure, short circuiting, arcing, self- heating, or leakage of electricity from whatever cause
  5. Loss of any Insured Property which is missing or has been mislaid, or its disappearance cannot be linked to any single identifiable event.
  6. Loss or damage to bullion or unset precious stones, manuscripts, plans, drawings, securities, obligations or documents of any kind, coins or paper money, cheques, vehicles, and explosive substances
  7. Gold or Silver articles, watches, any precious metals, articles made from any precious metals, jewellery, precious stones, medals, coins, stamp collections, coin collections, curios, sculptures, manuscripts, rare books or documents of any kind, etc
