LG Electronics Hosts Celebratory Dinner Honoring its Partners and Media Representatives

Speaking at the event, Managing Director of LG Electronics Levant Mr. Tae Hun Ryu took the opportunity to thank all media representatives for the fundamental role they played in securing positive coverage for the event, while further highlighting their instrumental role in enforcing LG Electronics’ image as a supporter of sports.

Furthermore, Mr. Ryu thanked The Embassy of Korea, the Federation at large and all organizing parties confirming that this successful endeavor served as a stepping stone, encouraging the company to carry out many more similar initiatives in the future. He also took this opportunity to congratulate the winners, while reiterating LG’s intention to continue supporting them in their athletic journey forward.

From his end, Mr Hazem Al-Naimat Deputy President of the Jordan Taekwondo Federation thanked LG Electronics for their support, confirming the Federation’s aim to drive the public’s participation in Taekwondo and to secure international accolades for Jordan through this sport.

It is worth mentioning that with 354 players coming from 40 different centers across the Kingdom and over 4000 fans in the audience, the LG Taekwondo Championship was a qualifying stage for the National Olympic Team set to represent Jordan in the upcoming Olympic Games of 2016.

During the appreciation dinner, LG announced their future plans to support the Federation’s aims to attain distinction at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
