I can't play a disc bought overseas

Symptom

I cannot play a DVD/CD bought in other country.

Cause

For DVD title, different local codes are assigned to each country due to the distributor’s copyright and profit.

How to fix

For titles(DVD/CD) bought in other country that has different local code, you can’t play it with domestic DVD player.
