TV changes the channel automatically
Symptom
TV switches to a different channel automatically.
How to fix
- Remove the batteries of remote control and see if the TV works properly. If channel doesn’t change automatically after removing the batteries from the remote control, then it may be caused by malfunction of remote control (debris in between the buttons).
- If it remains the same after removing the battery, try to:
- Remove the battery of external device's remote control (Set-top box, DVD, Blu-ray, etc.).
- Press each and every buttons on the TV.
- If the issue still persist, perform a factory reset on the TV.
