LG Electronics recently kicked off its Showroom on Wheels caravan in Davao City where the multinational electronics giant showcased their top-of-the-line consumer appliances and provided free, value-added services to Davaoeños.


The LG Caravan opened through a free Zumba Fitness Session at Rizal Park, Davao City, were more than 200 Davaoeños came and enjoyed the free session lead by  licensed Zumba instructors. The fitness marathon day included a raffle for all the participants. A medical mission was also conducted in partnership with the City Health Office of Davao. More than 260 patients were provided free medical assistance in one day.


In the same week, Davaoeños also got a chance to try LG’s newest line of washing machines during free labada day. Residents were encouraged to bring clothes for laundry so they can experience first-hand the features and benefits of the machines. For kids, free game time was provided using LG TV’S. A free movie screening was also held using the company’s state-of-the-art viewing appliances.


Giving back


“While part of the objectives of the caravan is to bring our products closer to our market, it really is more of a way for us to say ‘thank you’ to our customers for their loyalty and support,” says Roland Dallarte, LG Electronic’s Head of Corporate Marketing. “As a company, LG is as passionate about business as we are about customer service. Our vision, ultimately, is to offer lasting solutions and options for people who want to live the good life through the products that we develop.”


He added, “The caravan is a way for us to share the ‘good life’ experience to more people. We’re looking forward to bringing this unique experience to more people as we continue on the road show.”


The next stop for the Showroom on Wheels caravan is Bohol, Ilo-ilo and a lot more destinations. Residents can visit the specially decked out LG truck soon in those cities!
