A global leader and technology innovator in consumer electronics, LG officially opens today its strategic hub to further strengthen the health of its brand in Cebu and in Visayas as a whole.

Armed with a host of stylish design and smart technology products, future-focused business strategies, and strong branding and marketing activities, LG is being strategically positioned for repeated and sustainable growth and success in Cebu and the rest of the region.

“LG Cebu Branch is a clear indication of our drive to expand and cement our position as market leader especially in the Visayas,” said Raymond Hernandez, corporate marketing head of LG Electronics Philippines.

By opening its Cebu branch, Hernandez added that the company is aggressively making their presence felt in the market by engaging with and serving more LG business partners and consumers, who are always on the lookout for stylish and technologically-advanced products.

“We truly appreciate the trust of consumers in the Visayas towards the LG brand, we are aware that they, especially Cebuanos, are expecting a lot from our brand,” Hernandez remarked. “With our Cebu branch now in place, our customers would better experience the best in class product and customer service experiences.”

Globally, LG has become known for its refreshing brand that offers perfectly balanced “stylish design” and “smart technology” in products that fit consumers’ lifestyles.

“Here in Cebu, we want to reach the Uncompromising Seekers who never want to compromise between design and technology, but want it all,” Hernandez enthused.

Aside from being a business hub, LG Cebu Branch also operates as a service center to bring unrivalled premium customer service experience and provide support to dealers and authorized service centers in Cebu and other parts of the Visayas. Managed by highly trained experts, the center is equipped to fix or restore a wide range of LG products including televisions, home appliances, air conditioning units, and mobile handsets.

Earlier this year, LG has planned and setup several infrastructures to expand its presence in other key areas in the Philippines. Last May, the company inaugurated its Dagupan Service Center to serve its Northern Luzon customers. Moreover, three of its “first” in the country have been launched since 2nd half of this year. These include its first ever concept store at Robinsons Galleria in Mandaluyong City, its first ever mobile concept store at Cyberzone in SM Megamall, and the country’s first air conditioning academy. Investments are also underway in Mindanao as the company plans to reach more markets.

The LG Cebu Branch, located at 45 Capitol West Building, Escario cor Gil Garcia Sts, Cebu City, is the company’s fifth establishment that they have opened so far this year.

“These investment initiatives will enable LG to improve both growth and profitability in the Philippine major markets over the long-term,” Hernandez concluded. “Becoming a stronger global brand will be a natural outcome of these efforts.”
