How to use the LG TV Remote App
You can control the functions of your TV by using the app installed on your smart device.
- The text input function is supported, so you can enter text easily. (Text cannot be entered on some screens.)
- You can control your smart device as Magic Remote Pointer to select Touch Pad on app.
1. Download the LG Magic remote in your Google Play Store. (For Android Phone only)
2. Go to Play Store and search for the LG WebOS Magic Remote.
3. Install the Apps of LG WebOS Magic Remote
4. After Dowloading proceed to your Main Screen and look for the installed LG WebOS Magic Remote
5. Open the App and look at the and select this Icon on the top right-hand corner of the screen
6. Select the "Tutorial " to learn how to activate this App
7. Check whether TV and mobile are on the same Local Network ( Connected to the same Router )
8. Check that settings--> Network --> LG Connect Appsoption is Turned ON.
9. Run Mobile Applicationand Tap on " Connect Device " Button.
10. Select the Desired TV from the List ( Your LG WebOS TV Set )
11. On your TV Confirm Pairing Message will appear ( Connection Request set to YES )
12. Now you can use your Mobile phone as Magic Remote !
① You can use various apps installed on your TV.
② You can control the TV programmes, volume, etc. remotely.
③ You can move the pointer on the TV screen just like using the Magic remote.
