ARC not working on television
When connecting a home cinema set or a soundbar to a television, it is possible to use the ARC function.
This sends an digital audio signal over the HDMI cable that connects the home theatre to the television.
The home theatre system should automatically switch to the ARC or TV ARC function. This should be shown on the
home theatre display.
If the home theatre system is not showing (TV) ARC check:
- Is SIMPLINK enabled on the television.
- Is SIMPLINK / ARC enabled on the home theatre system.
- Is the Home Theatre system connected to HDMI 1 on the television.
- Is the home theatre using the TV OUT connection.
- Is the audio output on the television set to ARC.
- Is the cable working, check with other cable.
- Resetting the television and the home theatre to factory settings might work
