<b>MISSISSAUGA, September 26, 2007</b> --- As an official launch to its Red Couch Campaign promoting HD televisions, LG Electronics Canada (LG) invites Montréalers to put its slogan to the test: “Don’t just watch it, Live it” at the LG Open de Montréal and help raise money for Club des petits déjeuners du Québec, a charity dedicated to preparing and serving breakfasts to underprivileged schools to ensure that children get a nutritious meal every day before class.<br><br>
The LG Open de Montréal is a golf hole right in downtown Montreal located in Canada Place at René-Lévesque Boulevard and Peel Street. Everyone is invited to take a swing on September 26th, 27th and 28th for a chance to win a 52-inch LG HD television, and make a donation to Club des petits déjeuners du Québec. These donations will be matched by LG, up to $10,000. For every golfer who gets a hole in one, LG will donate an additional $500.
The LG Open de Montréal golf hole will also feature celebrity golfers for the public to cheer on each noon hour. For each celebrity golfer who gets a hole in one, LG will donate $1,000 to Club des petits déjeuners du Québec. The master of ceremonies for the noon hour events will be Jean-Michel Anctil, and Alain Cyr. Celebrities teeing up at the LG Open de Montréal include Stephen Ames, André Robitaille, Sylvain Marcel, Gino Chouinard and Jean-Thomas Jobin on September 26th, Marie-Ève Janvier, Jean-François Breau, Jean-François Baril and Steve Charbonneau on September 27th, and Louis Morissette, Rej Claveau and Charles Lafortune on September 28th.
"The Red Couch campaign is LG Canada's most ambitious integrated campaign of the year and we are thrilled to launch it is such a dramatic way with the LG Open de Montréal," said Andrew Barrett, Vice President of Marketing, LG Electronics Canada. "As with our HD TVs, we want everyone attending our event to more than just watch it, we want them to live it and also help us make life good for thousands of kids in Québec in our drive to raise money for Club des petits déjeuners du Québec."

On the green of the LG Open de Montréal there will be an outline around the golf hole the same size as a 52" LG HD TV. If a participant hits a ball that stops within the TV outline, then the golfer is entered to win a draw for a 52" television. In addition, LG encourages people to go to <a href="http://www.lg.ca">www.LG.ca</a> to win a trip to attend the LG Skins Game in California this November where Stephen Ames will play to defend his title. The contest winner and a friend will be front row at the LG Skins Game where they will sit on the LG Red Couch on the edge of the 9th hole green.
The LG Open de Montréal is about 70 yards in length and was developed with the input of Carlo Blanchard, who is a well-known golf expert in Québec. The netting surrounding the LG Open de Montréal hole is 70 metres in height, allowing for a clear shot at a hole in one. All participants are provided a ball and pitching wedge to take their best shot.
The LG Open de Montréal hole is open 11:00 to 5:00 on September 26th, and will be open 9:00 to 6:00 on both September 27th and 28th. A presentation of funds raised will be presented to Club des petits déjeuners du Québec by LG Electronics Canada on September 28th at 1:00 p.m.
The LG Red Couch TV spots began airing on September 16th.
