Environmental Compliance Administrator

Reporting to:        Team leader, Customer Service and planning

Primary Objectives of the Role:

To ensure that LGEUK are compliant in all aspects of Environmental legislation for example but not limited to:

  • RoHs
  • WEEE
  • Waste & Packaging
  • Batteries directive

 Co-ordination of Home Authority Principle (formally Trading Standards) enquiries and issues.

 Support Senior Management team where required.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Produce weekly and monthly reports both financial and operational.
  2. Work with both internal LG departments at local and European level and external companies and Government bodies.
  3. Ensure that LGEUK complies with environmental legislation and all reports & financial obligations are completed on time.
  4. Analyse data to ensure LGEUK are not exposed to risk.
  5. Monitor both EU & UK legislation for changes to existing legislation.
  6. Ad hoc support on request from top management

Analytical approach, a Team player, suited for a fast moving and expanding business, accounting background.

Key Relationships:

Internal - SVC, Finance Department, Field Service department, Sales & Product Managers,UK Planning team

External - Manufacturers in Far East, South east Asia, Poland etc, Authorised service providers and dealers
