The Opportunity |
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Planning & GTM team as an Pricing Manager (HE). Our team is responsible for supporting our Sales, Product and Marketing teams with meaningful data and insight to help position our products in the best way. As a Pricing Manager for HE, you will play a key role in the ranging and price & promotion strategy. As a Pricing Manager you will be expected to own the documentation, create compelling presentations and be able to discuss product roadmaps and strategies. |
Your Role & Responsibilities |
Channel Price Management & Product Roadmap Take responsibility for retailers ranging process to place right models at right price in each channel. Analyse channel characteristics and be involved in setting up channel strategy. Understand retailer’s actual margin level and set up margin matrix. Analysis for Consolidated Operation Income monthly to secure business profit Monitor retailers’ margin with market price tracker. Monitor retailers’ execution on product line up with product facing analysis. Monitor price erosion rate by retailer (including Retailer Margin Tracker) by weekly & monthly

Promotional Calendar (include Price promotion as well as Value Added Promotion strategy by retailer) Set up pre-planned promotional calendar (20 weeks) by channel & models. Monthly review for next 8 weeks of promotion plan(include Price promotion as well as Value Added promotion) Own weekly promotion meeting Return on Invest analysis and learning for next promotion plans. (focus on Price position vs. sell out trend) Seek for new kinds of promotional tools so liaise with marketing team. Co-work with marketing team to align promo plan & marketing plan aligned.
Sell-out management Sell-out performance analysis by channel & products on weekly basis. Sales progress check and set up action plan if necessary Lead weekly business meeting to check long term sales projection
Market Intelligence Monthly Market Audit data analysis on Market and competitors (GFK) Monitoring retailers’ promotion activity and range allocation to competitors. Weekly Monitoring competitors’ product, range, pricing and marketing activity Daily checking on pricing & Promotion monitoring of LG & Competitors.
Internal Data management Daily Pricing tracker by Retailer include margin structure / Quarterly health check-up for price strategic Daily / Monthly Sales Report, COI Report, Historical Sale report by retailer etc.) |
Skills, Education & Experience |
· Educated to degree level in related discipline or equivalent experience required · Strong knowledge on financial reporting, cost structure, and sales deduction in consumer goods industry · Commercial acumen with an ability to provide commercial & promotional insights with actionable recommendation under tight timescales across business functions · Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint are required. · Knowledge of return on investment modelling · Experience of communicating and presenting data with an emphasis on the insight the data delivers · Good understanding of the UK retail landscape · Excellent project management experience & Time management · Excellent communication skills; listening, explaining, interpreting, analysing, arbitrating, negotiating, decision making. · Proven problem solving skills with the ability to balance conflicting interest · A strong team player who is able to motivate, persuade and influence others · Experience of working within a performance management environment (KPI’s) |
