The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Service Planning team as a Service Business Analyst (G2). Our Service (SVC) team is responsible for supporting customers’ after sales activities such as but not limited to repair & return to ensure the customer receives satisfactory support throughout the United Kingdom. As a Service Business Analyst, you will play a key role in maintaining the cost and business performance reports for their respective business.

 

 

Your Role & Responsibilities

o   KPIs & Business Review Report

o   Weekly/ Monthly Service KPIs updates and monitoring

o   Weekly/ Monthly Business Review Report updates

o   Communication with EU SVC, HQ and other areas of LG business as required

 

o   Cost Management

o   Moving plan & Business Plan (Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly)

o   Taking responsibility for various elements of the SVC Cost Controlling work

o   Improving process and implementing key controls and KPIs for monitoring performance

o   Supporting the delivery of planning and re-forecasting programs

o   Maintenance of Service general ledger using GERP system

o   Maintain month and year end closing

o   Manage outstanding or pending invoices in a timely manner

 

o   Cost Analysis

o   Service cost gap analysis per product group (monthly)

o   Preparation of short and long-term SVC Cost Analysis

o   Year-end closing and specific reporting 

o   Ad hoc Service cost analysis report on request

o   Provide consistent support, reliable advice and timely and accurate information to related Department and SVC senior management team   

                     

o   Other duties

o   Review and implement process improvement

o   Critical analysis of team KPIs

o   Assisting with month end analysis and key account reconciliations

o   Ad hoc tasks on request of line manager or Service director

o   Liaison with factories in Far East for recovery of service cost

o   Business Expenses Budget control

o   Outstanding pending invoices management in a timely manner

 

 

Skills, Education & Experience

·         Must possess fluent Korean speaking, reading, writing skills.

·         Strong accounting skills; professional training preferred.

·         Excellent use of IT systems preferred (ERP, must be advanced level for Excel, PowerPoint etc)

·         An ability to work under pressure in a changing environment

·         Capable of producing relevant and accurate performance reports

·         Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise and disseminate a significant amount of information

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Ability to achieve and work with tight deadline.

·         Upper-intermediate knowledge of standard PC based Microsoft applications, in particular Excel
