Troubleshooting for when your Magic Remote isn't working
Quick Checks
If you can’t operate POWER ON/OFF, Volume, Home button and others, check the following.
1. Always replace the two batteries at the same time.
2. Remove all the obstacles in front of TV that cover the receiver.
※ The receiver is located at the bottom right corner or middle.
3. If TV is located where the sunshine is intense, move it to another place.
Other tips
Initialize the Magic Motion remote control, then re-register it.
※ Try to re-register when the TV is ON.
Magic Motion remote control 2010~2011:
1. Press OK and MUTE button at the same time for 5sec to initialize.
(If initialized, light will blink.)
2. If you hold the remote control heading toward TV and press OK button, it will register automatically and show the message on the screen that it is registered.
Magic Motion remote control after 2012:
1. Press SMART or HOME button with PREVIOUS button at the same time for 5sec.
2. Hold the remote control heading toward TV and press OK(wheel).
Newer TVs just require the following:
1) Ensure the TV is on
2) Point the Magic Remote at your TV and press the 'OK' (Wheel) button on the remote control
*If the TV fails to register the Magic Remote, try again after turning the TV off and on again
