 My washing machine is displaying the OE error. How do I clean the drain pump?

  Cause

The 'OE' error essentially means the water is not draining from the washing machine.

As your washing machine cannot drain if the filter of drain pump is clogged, re gular cleaning is necessary in order to avoid laundry

residue being accumulated  inside the filter. It is likely the cause is a kinked or clogged drain hose or a clogged pump filter.

  How to Fix

How to Run The Tub Clean Program:

1. Empty the drum (there must be NO clothes in the drum).

2. It is advised to add a cup of soda or other tub cleaner (according to package instructions)

3. Close the drawer and lid and then select “Tub Clean” button.
   Note: The message ‘tCL’ will remain on the display until the program is finished.

4. When the Tub Clean program is done, leave the washer lid open for ventilation and drying inside the washing machine.

 (NOTE: When cleaning the drain filter, it is possible for a large amount of water to come out so always lay down a towel before

 cleaning.  Also be extra careful with this if you have solid wood flooring) 

  - When your ready to clean the filter and happy to allow water into your floor then please do the following :-

 ① First open the filter cover loated on the botton left hand side of your machine (right-hand side for some models )  and

      locate the large filter cap and  residual water hose inside.

  ② Turn the large  cap to the left to take it out,

      Then remove residual water and any foreign materials. You do not need to touch the residual water hose

 ③ Clean filter and reassemble it

   - When your ready to clean the filter but NOT happy to allow water onto your floor then please do the following :-

 ① First open the filter cover loated on the botton left hand side of your machine (right-hand side for some models )  and

      locate the large filter cap and  residual water hose inside.

 ② To prevent your floor from getting wet, prepare a bowel or basin

 ③ Open the hose cap by pulling the residual water hose forward. Fill the bowel with water .
      ※ Always hold the hose when cork is opened. (if you miss the hose and it is injected inside, request service)

 ④ If water stops coming out  then close the hose cap and return it to it's original place.

 ⑤ Turn the large cap to the left and remove it, clean it and then reassemble.

① Open the cover by coin or finger  ② Remove the hose cap and drain off water  ③ Turn the filter cap counterclockwise to       disassemble filter  ④ Remove foreign material and wash filter       in the running water  ⑤ Assemble filter and close cap
