What are the measurements of the air discharge on the LP0818WNR model AC unit? I'm referring specifically to the end of the hose that goes out the window. Is it 8 inches by 3 inches? I had the larger model and already cut the hole for it.

Hello, if you are referring to the oval discharge, it is an 8" x 3" opening. If you are referring to the piece that attaches to the oval discharge opening and goes into the window, it is appx 18.5" x 6". ^AC

Hi Nader A. The average cost of running this LG 8,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner, Model # LP0818WNR for an hour on a low fan mode setting will depend on your utility rates. The air conditioner has a power consumption of 1,100 W per hour (1.1 kWh). Check your utility bills to see what your utility rates are per kWh to determine what your cost will be. The fan does not use any power worth factoring into the cost regardless of its setting. The compressor may run more than an hour or less than an hour to reach a set temperature of 76˚ depending on how high the external temperature is or on what temperature it is having to cool the room down from is...^IFV

Regrettably, we are unable to confirm that Model # LP1017GSR is a model that was released in the U.S. and do not have a file for it in our data banks that we can use to compare it to the LG 8,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner, Model # LP0818WNR. It may be similar to the LG 10,200 BTU Portable Air Conditioner, Model # LP1017WSR which has a different design to the LP0818WNR and has a higher dehumidification capacity than the LP0818WNR and was released before the LP0818WNR...^IFV
