What is the performance  difference between a LW1215ER and LT1015CER

Asked by: Froy25
The BTU ratings are different for these units. The LG 9,800 BTU Thru-The-Wall Air Conditioner, Model # LT1015CER is designed to cool a room that has an estimated cooling area of 440 square feet and the LG Window Air Conditioner, Model # LW1215ER has a BTU rating of 12,000 BTU which is appropriate for a room with an estimated cooling area of 550 square feet. When selecting the correct air conditioner for your room, you have to choose one that has the right BTU rating for the rooms square footage. The other difference between these 2 units is that one is designed to be installed through the wall and the other in a window. They are not interchangeable...^IFV
