What people are saying

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great cooling power & fairly quiet Bought this ac unit 3 years ago. Still very pleased with it, wich is saying a lot for now a days.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This unit runs for long periods and ran great This unit was purchased for an employee break room which has vending machines. This room is always hot without using the AC unit. With the AC unit on it will easily come down to 65 degrees. I would purchase another unit just like this one.

Anyway I could get those specs for LG LW1013CR Thru-Wall/Window Air Conditioner in spanish

Asked by: Rsmirez
Regrettably, the support page for the LG 9,500 BTU Casement Air Conditioner with Remote, Model # LW1013CR at https://www.lg.com/us/support-product/lg-LW1013CR#manuals only has a link for the English version of the owner's manual. You can contact our Support Center (800) 243-0000 to inquire if there was a Spanish version of the manual that was released for this unit...^IFV

How far out does this unit protrude from the window?

Once the unit is installed in a horizontal sliding window, approximately how far into the room does the unit protrude from the window face?
Asked by: pandorarocks
Hi pandorarocks. How far this unit extends into the room will depend on how thick your window is. The 9,500 BTU 115-Volt Window Casement Air Conditioner with Remote, Model # LW1013CR has an overall depth of 23" of which a minimum of 14" must extend outside your window so that leaves 9 inches that fits into the window and extends into the room, so if your window is around say 4 inches, then depending on how deep your window stool is, the Air conditioner will probably protrude into the room by about 3 inches or less as an estimate! Unfortunately, you have not provided any information on your window size or window frame so that is the best answer we can give you without knowing more details about your window...IFV

Is there a cover for the unit?

I just purchased the casement air conditioner, I plan on permanently installing it in the window and would like a cover for the winter months.
Asked by: BrenW
We appreciate your interest in this air conditioner. Such a cover is recommended, if the unit is to remain in the window. However, the manufacturer does not have any covers available that we might specify.

Why is it that your, suggested price, is $20.00 less, than Home Depots selling price?

I want to purchase this unit but don't understand how selling price is more than suggested price by a store that says they wont be undersold.

How is this mounted?

Do you need a exterior support bracket to mount this? Anything else I should know? I would like to install this in my apartment but I don't know if I can attach a bracket etc to the exterior of the building
Asked by: Rach64

Can the LG LW1013CR go in a double hung window? I only have 18" width with my new windows. The old window housed a 19" 12,000 BTU unit.
