This winter, I’m using them inside, mainly at night, to listen to TV shows or audio books. I need to use them so as not to disturb others who are sleeping. I never realized how good the d]sound was until I watched some movies. The dialog is clear and the bass is surprisingly resounding. I’m surprised at how good it sounds.

Does this model have a noise limiter to keep the sound from grtting too loud and damaging your ears? Specifically, do they meet OSHA guidelines of keeping sound less than 85 decibels?

The LG TONE ULTRA™ Wireless Stereo Headset, Model # HBS-800 does not have a noise limiter. There is no specific OSHA regulation that prohibits the use of the headset on a construction site or any other workplace, but OSHA has set permissible noise exposure limits and requires employers to protect employees subject to sound levels exceeding these limits. OSHA’s Hearing Protection standard requires that ear protective devices be provided by the employer and used wherever necessary to reduce noise levels below acceptable limits set out by the agency. These standards for acceptable exposure limits sound range from eight hours a day for 90 decibels to a quarter-hour or less per day for 115 decibels. However, OSHA admitted that it has no regulations that specifically ban the use of headphones. As a result, the use of headphones by workers on a construction site may be permissible at the discretion of management, unless such use creates or augments other hazards apart from noise...^Ivan

I have bought an HBS 800 this year. It worked properly and very comfortably but suddenly it doesn't connect with my android device Huwaei. It only connects when it remains on the charging or connect with the power supply. kindly help me in this regard.

Regrettably, connectivity issues with the LG TONE ULTRA™ Wireless Stereo Headset, Model # HBS-800, and other Bluetooth devices will require some troubleshooting to determine why it is not connecting as it used to. There are many things in your environment that may be interfering with the Bluetooth signal. The closest LG Support Center to you is in India and you will need to contact the support Center in India for assistance, https://www.lg.com/in, 1800 315 9999 OR 1800 180 9999 24 hrs, 7 Days a week, Except national holidays...^IFV

What distance will my headset and connected device be able to withstand without interrupting the connection?

If the paired devices are separated by a range of 30 feet (10 meters) or more, the headset and phone will disconnect and the HBS-800 will vibrate to alert you. ^CP
