What People Are Saying

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Power problems I got them less than 3 days ago. Have had to charge everyday! When I turn the power off on neckband the buds still blink like they are on!! What is the problem with them?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome Sound Quality and Ergonomic Design I have owned this unit about a year. It took a long time to get used to it as I had trouble understanding how to get both sides of the earbuds working simultaneously as the right side of the earbud won't work without the left been active. Once I figured out getting it to work the sound that it produces is just pure quality. Awesome bass. Call clarity is acceptable. Two issues with it is that they don't fit into the earlobe snugly as they easily fall out. On a few occasions they have dropped from my ear and thought I'd lost them. Secondly is the challenge of connecting them back into the neck brace as you have to hold the neck brace in order to securely connect the earpiece. To overcome the problem I bought the cradle for it. I hope a newer version will be made that addresses the concerns already expressed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Headphones I purchased these headphones 2 days ago. 1) It took 8 to 9 hours to charge 2) Connection was not easy 3) Connection kept dropping once I had a successful connection 4) Only the right earpiece worked Last while making a call no one could hear me. I would not recommend anyone to purchase this headset.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Work in Progress LG, Here are a few Ideas for the next gen of the Tone Free. -Keep the neckband: one of the reasons I don't care for other wireless earbuds is the case you must carry in ones pocket to charge or pair -All controls belong on the neckband: volume, skip answer, pause, on/off -i initially though to not add an external speaker: Ive owned to A100 active+... never use it...actually, this might be an area where the external speaker actually makes sense.. lets say your buds die, you plug them in and switch to the external to keep listening while the buds charge - Bluetooth 5.0- no exceptions -5 hour battery with 2 recharges in the neck band -Ability to use the earbuds independently from each other, do not use NFC to pair one bud to the other. Put a microphone on each side of the neckband- in the audio world there is ear fatigue, forcing users to utilize the master earbud and have that earbud sync to the other creates ear fatigue. Allow consumers to pick ether the left or right bud for any function. Also, in most cases I am only using one bud at a time, allowing users to pick one bud or the other while the second bud remains charged would significantly extend listening time. Lets say your bud has 3-4 hours of battery life- use one bud, and when it dies, take the other out and put it in your ear, take the dead bud and it goes back in the neck band and takes 1-2 hours to charge. You could repeat that process all day to a full 8+ hour work day listening -Add voice activated Alexa, google, siri activation- add 2 more micro phones on each side of the neckband -discrete LED lights, less frequent flashing -Do not skimp on your app. This is a week point for LG across the board but specifically in the Tone & Talk. Look into your competitors apps and see what works. You need full EQ capabilities, all controls available in the app as well as the neckband... and by the love of Jesus....regular updates are essential. Quit abandoning your support. you abandon you consumer base and is is viewed as careless and insulting. Thats a lot of free consulting information, anything more and Ill need to charge. If you'd like to collaborate though, you have an email for me.

Music only works on left side I push the button on right bud and get a beep only

Asked by: Jim houston tx
Hello Jim, Check the battery charging status. If the battery is sufficiently charged, reconnect the earbuds again by referring to “HBS-F110 Pairing and Connecting” in the owner's manual found in the link. If that does not work, please give us a call at 1-800-793-8896. ^AC

Does the audio play in only one ear for phone calls? This may sound like a stupid question, but I am returning my 2nd brand name purchase of wireless in-ears because this is apparently a thing. Apple EarPods work, but I want better quality.

Asked by: TheMickster
That is correct. As described on page 10 of your owner's manual for the LG TONE FREE™ Bluetooth® Wireless Earbuds With Charging Neckband, Model # F110, "Only the left earbud operates during a voice call"...^IFV

Is the only volume control at the phone itself most headsets have volume control on the headset also

Asked by: Papatiger64
Hello, as per the manual, You can adjust the volume from the LG Tone & Talk app connected to HBS-F110. To prevent hearing loss, a control sound is played twice or at length when controlling the volume at high volumes You cannot adjust the volume on HBS-F110. Adjust in-call volume from the device connected to HBS-F110. ^AC

I cannot get the right ear piece to produce sound. It turns on and makes a beeping noise when I press the button on it, but will not play the music that is playing on the left one. Please help me solve this problem or help me connect the two ear pieces?

Do you have to wear the neck band to make phone calls

Asked by: Bobby81
You do not have to wear the neck band to make phone calls or listen to music. The neck band does have to be within 3 meters during operation however. ^CP
