*ADA - COMPLIANT REFRIGERATORS -
LG Side-by-Side refrigerator models feature touch controls that meet ADA requirements by being positioned to allow for easy forward reach and one-hand operation, with no more than five lbs. of pressure. At least fifty percent of the freezer space is located within 54 inches from the floor, as required by ADA guidelines.

To be considered ADA-compliant, a Side-by-Side refrigerator must have a minimum of 50% freezer space no more than 54 inches above the finished floor.

Controls must:
• Allow parallel approach by a person in a wheelchair with maximum high side reach of 54 inches for operation
• Be operable with one hand and not require tight grasping, pinching or twisting of the wrist
• Require force of less than 5 lbs. to activate
