What people are saying

Rated 5 out of 5 by from How a Cellphone Should Operate I've had this phone for over 3 years now (!) and still love it! The only reason it is no longer active (I now only use it for wifi or a backup phone), is because LG decided not to update the operating system any longer. Which means that many apps no longer work with it because they no longer support the older android version. It was the fastest phone on the market for a while, and the first to have quad core. Great task interface to post directly from email invitations. Super easy setup, great screen and the size was small enough to fit in your purse pocket, but large enough to view. If LG had decided to continue updating the operating system, I would still be using it! Every time I used this phone in front of someone else, I got complements on not only how it looked, but all the various functions it had, many of them hidden. While this phone was in it's heyday, it was pretty much unbeatable for form, function and beauty. I will miss it very much in my everyday organizing. So, what did I replace it with? Why, an LG V10! Another great phone, even if it is larger than I wanted. The functions this phone has is almost unbelievable, and LG will be upgrading the operating system to Nougat in the fall of 2017. And... same great task app!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty good (for the novice) Well recieved the phone in excellent condition , That being said, I know i am kinda "hard" on my equipment, this phone held up a lot better than others i have had in the past. Again.... that being said soon after Rooting it, all sorts of issues starting happening . (and of course AT&T cant have anything to do with me or the phone.) other than that an excellent gift, dont know if i would pay the asking price for it in the store.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Refuse to upgrade This is my third LG phone. I've had the Optimus G for 2 years now. I can easily upgrade but this one works so well that I do not see a need to. I cannot count the number of time i have dropped this phone, sat on it and more... but it just keeps working! Love this product.

how to use nfc

Asked by: jddy
To enable on your NFC, you would: 1.From the home screen, swipe down the Notifications bar. 2.Swipe left to navigate to NFC. 3.Tap NFC to toggle on/off. Launch the Isis Mobile Wallet app. Tap Get Started; view and accept the Terms of Service. Enter the e-mail address, Isis password and create a 4-digit PIN. Do not close the app during the activation process. The app confirms the activation is complete. The activation process must be done over the AT&T data network, not over Wi-Fi. Once the activation is complete, the app is Wi-Fi compatible. Payment transactions do not require a data signal to work.

Which should I upgrade to: LG Optimus or Samsung III?

Asked by: Chloe
Hello Chloe, This is a question only you can answer. You might want to research both phones. I read all the reviews and then read the manuals and tutorials for the phones I am trying to choose from. You can also talk to the customer care people at ATT.com for any questions you still have. Good luck in your research. Both of these are great phones.

Are these reviews for the Opimus G?

All of these reviews seem to be for a Windows phone. My pre-ordered Optimus G is being shipped today. So I'm not sure the reviews are correct.
Asked by: NBAfan
Hi NBAfan, No, this is most definitely an Android phone. It is not a Windows phone. Just letting you know.
