Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great camera, bad updates This phone had an amazing camera. It was great in low light and pretty fast too. My only complaint with the camera is that the raw files were pretty bad. This phone got few updates (maybe AT&T's fault?). The last update I got was for android 6. That one had a bug that killed battery life. Never got fixed and never got android 7. it had great battery life before. Yes, i had the dreaded bootloop. LG fixed it, no questions asked. It eventually died though because the USB port stopped working. I got two years out of it. I probably won't buy a LG again until they have provwn themselves.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love This Phone. Glad I Upgraded I have had an LG G3 for the past 2 5 years and it had become my favorite phone of all time, until I just upgraded to the G4. I know there have been professional reviewers that had said there wasn't much difference between the G3 and G4 except for the camera, but do not agree. Being a long time user of the G phones, I have noticed improvements such as the speakerphone is not only louder, but callers are crystal clear. I was surprised by this having read a few professional reviews saying the speakerphone was muffled. I don't know what phone they were using, but it is defiantly not muffled. The upgrades to the camera are great for me as a semi-professional landscape photogrpher. allowing me to manually adjust the camera's ISO and shutter speed. I don't always have my camera with me, so when I see a shot I have no problem just using my phone. But the main reason I bought the G4 was the WiFi calling feature. I live in the part of the Sonoma wine country that was devastated by the wildfires back in October 2017. Since then cell phone service has been spotty, getting 1 bar or no bars thoughout the area on my G3. Now with the G4, I just turn on WiFi calling and I can make calls from anywhere in the county. OuItside of the area is 5 bars without using Wifi calling. All and all after doing countless research and reading reviews, I believe I couldn't have made a better choice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Experience Great experience using this phone. Beautiful design, awesome camera, etc. But I'd still worry about the bootloop issue, I hope LG have a permanent solution for this issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Device With A Perfect Design Definitely the best phone LG has ever made. The only problem I've had so far is a few scratches on the metal side, which could be my fault. The camera and design has absolutely no problems and works pefectly. I am a fan of LGs software, which most people prefer a stock experience which your not getting, but not heavily altered. Sl far i have had no problems with my device and are lookign forward to using it untill the V40 or V50 comes out.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A great phone with more attentions to usage Using the the LGG4 for about 2 years now not without saying I had it boot-looped once, which was thankfully covered by a warranty. Now i have been taking better care for this refurbished phone. Very unnecessarily, if i wanted to play games i'd make sure i put it at the lowest brightness, and have battery saver on when using it via wifi or cell data service. This also is needed for youtube, snapchat, and any data usage. Never had trouble with the batteries and my favorite part about this phone is the external storage. Its always nice to have it as both a place to save my photos and backups. (its like a 3rd backup system next to cloud and google.) The main issue is over heating. With the last phone i believe that overheating was the cause for the boot loop, so just making sure it stays cool is a hassle when using it. Other than this i'm thankful for a close call and using the 1 year warranty. I'm glad though now there are 2 yr warranties for the lgv30. That was very nice. Other than this I'm scared to trust LG because of this hassle. I wanna take on the v30, but its pushed me to look at other options, away from a hassle that might appear. Thanks and always an LG fan, just questioning it now an then.
