What People Are Saying

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do Not Buy this Phone I have had this phone for 2yrs. Its storage sucks, and battery does not last for long at all. It doesn't break very easily when dropped however it does crash alot when using it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good features like camera. I bought this phone over a year ago and it was good at first but now it doesn't work. It restarts by itself and freezes and storage is terrible. I do not recommend this device it is terrible

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I dont recomend this phone to people I bought this phone about a year ago, overall it's not that bad of a phone but it has a lot of problems. For example; the storage is very bad and as of rite now it won't turn on and it's fully charged. I don't know if its broken it wont work.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from The flaws outweigh the advantages The camera takes gorgeous pictures and video; the display is in great HD, and the calls are crisp... but: You're stuck with 1.5 gb of memory and it does NOT matter if you have a Micros SD card in it, the phone's memory levels will still shrink & there are apps you cannot delete, even if you never use them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from A companies well valued Goodwill in the Balance St Dear LG, The LG Realm is a great disappointment to the brand LG. I know what your R&D or Marketing dept. were thinking. However, keep on that path of focusing on short term ROI and you won't need a crystal ball nor an Oracle to learn your fate in the wireless unit market. You can do better. You already have proven that LG products work, reliability and style. Maybe next time?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A Good 3G Phone On A Very, Very Slow 3G Network The LG Realm is a very good 3G phone that is held back by being on America's slowest 3G network. The Boost Mobile/Sprint 3G network is so slow in many cities that it is really just 2G . In contrast, the LG Realm has a "twin brother", the LG L70, that runs on the MetroPcs/T-Mobile 4G HSPA+ network that downloads data ten times faster than the Boost 3G Network. Also, fast 4G LTE phones, such as the LG Volt, are available at prices similar to the price of the Realm. Other than the slow 3G data network, the Realm is a good phone. The call quality is good in strong signal areas and videos look great on its 4.5 inch screen. Music sounds fine through good headphones or bluetooth speakers. The rear camera takes good photos in bright sunlight, but poor photos indoors. The front "Selfie" camera takes poor photos even in bright light. The key weakness of the Realm is that it has only 1.3gb of internal memory for apps and games. After the standard pre-installed apps are updated, you will have less than 1gb of memory to add your own favorite apps and games. You can install a 32gb microSD memory card for music and videos, but few apps can be moved from internal memory to the microSD card. NOTE TO LG: In 2014, 8gb of storage is the bare minimum for even an entry level phone. Just 1gb of storage for apps and games cripples a phone. So, the Realm will not work for people who need access to a fast 3G network and it will not work for people who want to install lots of apps and games. Who WILL like the Realm? The Realm is a very good phone for someone who uses their phone only to make phones calls and send texts, but who seldom uses the internet when not connected to wi-fi. That sort of person does not need lot of apps or games and they can get by with just 1gb of storage. If you need access to faster internet service, then consider the LG L70 on MetroPcs.
