Rated 4 out of 5 by from Clean and mean For an "outdated" mobile device this one keeps up very well. The display is bright and fantastic with a very high resolution. The screen size is big enough but not too big. Decent amount of memory both internal and random access. With a fast and potent chipset, compatibility and great cameras this device can just about do it all. It's great for mobile gaming, media playback and recording, getting around on the internet and communicating with others. The only drawback is the power consumption. The high speed and resolution does eat the battery up. Unfortunately you can't change the battery halfway through your day but it does charge quickly. To make it last all day with moderate use without a charger takes some management and quality trade offs. No Micro SD card expansion is another downside however the 32 gigabytes onboard is way better than 8 gigabytes onboard with a large Micro SD card on my last device because large apps don't install on the slower Micro SD cards. If you want something to work and play hard but don't want to spend to much I'd suggest considering this device. You can do VR with it too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from the g2 simply captivated me.... i never even thought twice about leaving samsung behind for good because one phone design, extreme usability and performance, just dominated and trumped all other brands. i still have and use my vs980. i fixed itba few times but no design is without a small flaw. small price to pay. this phone is still relevent today next to its newer versions. starts faster than g3 ,4 and 5. of course the g5 owns but g2 still standing strong and is better than 85% of other phones on the market. and thanks to the g5 the g2 is pretty affordable to by outright to bring to any carrier. love this phone!!!! thanks lg!!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst phone I have ever owned! I have this phone just about a year and it simply the worst phone ever. It is slow and randomly shuts off and or just goes back to home screen. Sometimes it is impossible to send text messages. It just says sending and never sends. Also, the phone gets hot to touch and it must be restarted. The battery life is poor and it doesn't stay charged even for a day. I absolutely hate this phone and would never recommend purchasing it. I will never by LG again!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from If I could give zero stars I would I have had this phone for less than one year. Battery life is less than 7 hours. Most of the applications are laggy. The phone randomly shuts down and when it turns back on, has lost at least 30% of its battery life. The headphone jack stopped working after 3 months, the charger port no longer works unless I hold the phone and charger at a certain angle, and even then it tells me the charger is incompatible and the charger actually DRAINS the battery. This is the worst phone I have had yet, and I had a track phone. Whenever I am asked about what kind I have, I make sure I tell them to never purchase this phone because it is actual garbage. Do NOT waste your time buying this piece of poop that doesn't perform any of the functions it should. It doesn't deserve your money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from not built to last I bought 2 of these phones 1 and a half years ago. For 6 months the phones have not been able to charge from the original charger that came with the phone. Slowly charges with new cords or simply will not charge with the message, "Charging has stopped to prevent damage to phone. To continue charging phone connect the phone to its original USB cable and charger provided." The only way to charge the phone is through the USB cord connected to the computer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT! My LG G2 Verizon is a great phone. I have had many brands with various bells and whistles but NONE are as good as this. The G2 is STILL competative with all the latest "Big boy" models.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Relatively low function Le me watching tv, guy who gets shot gets ressuscitated by some sort of future tech, jumps up and stabs/kills the doctor who was trying to save his life. I yell at the TV "Hey! That wasn't very nice!" like I'm scolding a small child. Yeah Stace, that's totally gonna work XD

Rated 1 out of 5 by from ABSOLUTE FAIL This is the absolute worst phone I have ever owned. Last night I tried charging it over night and today it is at 8% battery capacity. Everything about this phone failed with the new software update. It now cannot send or receive texts/calls. I have tried hard resetting the phone but it continues to fail. Also you can watch as the battery power ticks away. About every minute the battery life goes down 1%. 0/10 I will never purchase another LG product ever again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Smartphone Ever! I bought this device a month ago, and so far, despite being a two year old phone, it's great! The phone performs very well, very fast, and almost never slows down, the battery is very long, and the camera is just outstanding compared to my Galaxy S3. The screen is big and sharp, and is very comfortable to hold. The performance got even better today as Verizon pushed out an update to it, with bug fixes and RAM managment solved, and is blazing fast. The only thing that I want to see is Android Marshmallow, because this device certainly has the guts to run it. Other than that, I would recommend this phone to anyone!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Torn about this phone I bought this phone about a year ago because my Galaxy was stolen. Anyway, I liked the way the phone looked so I thought I would give it a try. The good: I get a lot of compliments on this phone. A lot of people love the way it looks and so do I. It's definitely a good looking phone. I like all the features, cameras etc. I also like the big screen and that it's light weight. The bad: After having the phone for nearly a year it started to act up. The double tap to wake up the phone stopped working; I would have to tap several times before it woke up. The power button also stopped locking the phone and my phone was super super super slow. It was annoying. The other thing I really don't like (and probably why I won't ever buy an LG phone again) is how easy the freaking thing breaks. I've had to replace this phone two times because the front screen completely shattered, it looked like a car had run over the phone and all I did was accidentally drop it on the ground. This has never happened with other phones I've had. I try to be careful with my phone but in each instance I dropped the entire front screen was completely destroyed. I really hate that about the phone and I honestly can't wait until I'm available for an upgrade and I can go back to the Galaxy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hate to love relationship I've had this phone for two years after my HTC broke. I didn't like LG before because of one I had four years ago but this has totally changed my opinion 180. I would choose my G2 over anything else that's new. Except maybe a G4.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from i only buy lg because of this phone I've had this phone for 3 years and only had an issue when it fell in a pool great camera great features speakers with out head phones need improvement but work fine... The buttons on the back are probably my favorite feature ... The phone is big and this allows for 1 hand use. Best phone for creative ppl who don't like the 1 size fits all quality of an iPhone

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great Product - Stopped Working For the first two months I owned this phone performance was great. Phone reception is great. I live in a rural area and had very few dropped calls. Camera takes great pictures, screen is bright and colors good. After two months the double tap to wake and put to sleep quit working, a month later I could not pull down the the notifications, then the top inch of the screen became none responsive. Last week the whole screen became unresponsive for a while then it became spastic, jumping to random apps. The phone is now unuseable. As an aside, pulled sim and put it my N4, another LG product, which the G2 replaced. That phone died while listening to a podcast yesterday. I have bought my last LG product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Liking it! Have only had for short time, but I've found it user friendly. Have had some issues with GPS being slow (not sure that's LG phone issue however). I switched from Iphone, and so far am happy that I switched. I like the larger screen.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bought two - both have quickly had issues. I bought two of these - one for myself and one for my son. My son's had to quickly be sent back as the digitizer (touch screen) went bad. Both have very poor GPS. It takes way to long to lock in GPS signals. I've seen discussions on-line as to whether this is a hardware or software problem. I know once I get a lock I can find a dozen or more satellites, so my money is on software. Even when GPS is locked in it can easily lose direction at an intersection and become confused. Overall, phone has some nice features, but it is a bad sign when problems such as these are there from day one.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from much better than the G2 but far from 5 stars Phone works good but far almost in another galaxy worthy of 3 stars. Built in apps work great but downloaded eat battery life. Talk time is no where near what the G2 was able to do.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Use for a year before writing a review So many people get a new product, use it for a few days and then write a review. First impressions of this phone are good but after living with it for a while you discover the shortcomings, among them a very short battery life after a few months, recalcitrant screens that do what they want to do, poor screen response: tap, tap, tap until something happens. Phone manufacturers should concentrate on making products better and longer lasting rather than adding on more bells and whistles to attract the curious.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from LG G2 i have had this phone for 2 years and it is just now starting to do stupid things, i don't drop my phone or handle it roughly, the worst thing i hate about my phone is the auto updates that is sent to it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great smartphone!! Love the phone! Good everything. My one and only drawback is finding cases and wallet cases that will fit the Verizon version. Even the ones that are specifically for the Verizon LG G2 phone. Otherwise, a great phone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not happy with updates This was a terrific phone until the last update from LG. Since the update, the icons became 1 dimensional and the phone automatically alphabetizes the music titles. LG, please leave well enough alone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I love my G2 Been a great phone, headphone jack shorted out several times, so had to go to bluetooth headphones, other than that this was the premier flagship back when I got it, and its lived up to expectations. I wish I could be a free beta tester for the new G4!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great features Had this phone for a little over a year. When I first received it, I found it fairly user friendly and loved all of the great features. It has slowed down some, but is still in pretty good shape for over a year old (I am pretty hard on phones). Would recommend to anyone with its great features and usability.
